I watched her sit on my bed, glancing around the room.
"Everything okay?" I asked her, seeing her instantly nod.
"Can we watch a movie?" She asked me.
She wanted me to stay with her until she fell asleep.
"Absolutely" I assured her.
I picked Shrek, laying in bed with her, feeling her instantly scoot closer to me.
It made me happy
To feel her scooting closer to me, to feel and know that she trusted me to hold her and sleep in the same bed with her even.
Not even ten minutes into the movie, I felt her body relax, telling me that she drifted to sleep
And I wasn't far behind her
I woke up to a flash of light, making me slowly open my eyes, rubbing them, hearing Michael
"Sorry- too cute not to capture" he grinned, showing me a picture of Alexis and I sleeping, Alexis tucked tightly into my chest.
"Why are you home early?" I asked him.
"I'm not" he laughed lightly.
"How long have you guys been sleeping for? It's five in the evening."
We laid down at eleven
"Fuck" I groaned, knowing we wouldn't be able to sleep tonight.
"When do you plan on coming back to work?" He asked.
"Tomorrow we're going house shopping-" "without us?" He asked quickly, making me look to him completely.
"I didn't think you guys would want to reinvest in a house considering we just bought this one about a year ago-" "and Ashton hates it, I want a bigger room and Michael wants more space for Crystal to move in with him- we all want to move as well." He spoke calmly.
"Oh- okay, that's fine, we can all go house shopping together." I spoke, seeing him smile, nodding lightly.
"I guess I'll go into work tomorrow for a little while, Alexis and I did pretty much everything today" I exhaled to him.
"That's if you can sleep tonight, you just took an extra long nap" he laughed lightly
"I guess I'll get an intern to bring us two sedatives, so maybe we don't stay up all night"
