"You're sure you're okay? You don't want to stay in the hospital a little longer just to be sure?" Bakugo asked as he pushed the wheelchair that Midoryia occupied towards the front doors of the hospital. Due to his condition Midoryia wasn't quite strong enough to walk yet but he had began to feel better ever since he woke up.

"Kacchan, I'm tired of being in the hospital. I've been here for over a month. I want to go back home." Midoryia replied, looking up at him.

"Fine, but you're taking it easy for the next couple of weeks no matter what." Bakugo stated. "It'll be no good if you end up back here because you decided to start patrolling before you were well enough."

Once they reached the car, Bakugo helped prop Midoryia up out of the wheelchair. Midoryia used Bakugo's shoulder to keep himself from falling over. His legs were weak from the lack of use but once he got his strength back he would be back to normal. Bakugo helped Midoryia into the passenger seat before going to put the wheelchair back at the front of the hospital.

He got into the driver's side and looked at his friend. Midoryia was leaning against the window as he closed his eyes.

"Deku." Bakugo said softly, concern in his voice.

Midoryia opened his eyes and looked at him. "I'm fine Kacchan. I'm just going to take a little nap until we get back to the apartment." He then closed his eyes once again and rested his head against the window.

Bakugo couldn't help but remain tense as he looked at him. Every time Midoryia closes his eyes it scared the shit out of him. He was worried that maybe the quirk wasn't fully out of his system and he would regress back into his coma. The drive home was silent as Bakugo didn't want to disturb Midoryia's sleep. Even though he was "asleep" for a month, he still looked tired.

Once they arrived back at the apartment, Bakugo parked the car and helped Midoryia out. Bakugo put Midoryia's arm over his shoulder to help boost Midoryia's body up.

Midoryia took each step slowly as Bakugo helped him into the complex. Unlucky for them though, there was no elevators so they had to go up the stairs. Midoryia was already breathing hard as he neared the entrance to the staircase.

"I'm fine I can do this-" Midoryia tried to say as he attempted to took his first step up but his knee buckled out from under him, causing Bakugo to have to catch him.

"Take it easy you damn nerd." Bakugo stated as he lifted him up onto his back.

"Kacchan-" Midoryia tried to protest but Bakugo paid no attention to him.

"Shut the hell up, you can't go up two flights on your own right now." Bakugo replied. Midoryia groaned as he realized his roommate was right.

Once they reached the top of the stairs, Midoryia squirmed around, trying to get off of Bakugo's back. "I can walk the rest of the way."

Bakugo couldn't help but laugh. Even though Midoryia was being stubborn right now, he had missed the greenette's voice.

"If you say so." Bakugo shrugged as he let Midoryia back down to the ground and wrapped an arm around his waist.

They walked slowly down the hallway before stopping in front of their door. Midoryia had broke out in a sweat at this point but he tried not to show how tired he was.

Bakugo fiddled with the keys, opening the door slowly as the duo walked in. Midoryia's eyes glanced around the apartment. It had been so long since he had been inside his home.

"Come on, you're going to bed." Bakugo stated as he lead Midoryia towards the bedroom. This time Midoryia didn't argue as he followed Bakugo's lead.

Midoryia crawled into bed as Bakugo walked back over to the door. "I'll check on you in an hour."

"Okay." Midoryia replied back, already bundling himself up in the soft covers.

Bakugo reluctantly closed the door to the bedroom standing outside of it for a moment.

Things are finally getting back to normal.
