Alex pov:
I had to call Alicia
Is she okay? Is she sick? Is she hurt?
A lot of things when through my head
I rushed to my phone and called Alicia
No answer
Why is she not answering!
I kept calling and calling and after the 20 calls she finally picked up
"ALICIA"
"Alex... what happened"
"Why don't you answer" I yell
"Aye calm down... I was with um my family"
"Alicia please just tell me the truth"
"The truth? What truth do you want. I told you I'm with my family"
"Alicia I know your sick"

"Alicia I know your sick"
Sick? How does he know
"Sick? What do you mean? I'm perfectly fine" I lie
"Alicia... I know you aren't"
"Well I am. I don't know where you got this nonsense from, but I'm fine" I held in my tears
"Alicia, please stop lying to me." alex said
"Alicia I need you to sign-"
"Wait who's that?" Alex questioned
"I need to go alex... bye"
"Alicia wai-"

2 days have passed Carlos is here with me now. The doctor has told me great news! Ever since I have stayed at the hospital I've been receiving way more help. I'm ... getting better!
"Alicia?"
"Yes?"
"Are you ever going to tell everyone back home? I mean they bare going to find out when you go back and they see how much you have... well you have changed." Carlos looks at me
"I-I know. I'm not ready yet. I first need to know that most of it is gone, I want to bring back good news!" I smile
"Okay, I'm going down to the cafeteria, you want something, like a banana or an apple, they do say a apple a day keeps the doctor away" he laughed
I laughed " sure"
I'm going back in two weeks, and I'm not ready to see Alex. Liam and I have decided it's best if we stayed as friends. My friends are all still around! This whole hospital chemotherapy has been more like a vacation to me, not having to worry about nothing, but for myself. To be honest I kind of don't want to go back home.

"Last check up!" Carlos said taking me to the doctors office
" yeah can't believe it... I just hope that I'm well enough to leave so I can go to college" I sigh
"Yeah, let's hope for the best!" Carlos hugged me
I don't have my mom, but at least I have my brother

"How is it doctor?" I asked
"I have great news and bad news" he takes out paper work
"Whats the good news?"
"The good news is you are getting better!"
"Really. That's great news!" Carlos side hugged me
"And what's the bad news?" I started to get worried
" I'm going to have to see you again in a week in California, just to run some test again to see what medicine you need the most. I'm giving easy medicine so you can get comfortable to the stronger medication later on"
"I thought I was good?"
"You are but not all the way, you might have some symptoms, don't get scared. It's best if you stay in and rest for as long as you need!"
"Okay doctor, thanks"

"Well people are heading to their college already"
"Oh shoot I forgot about that" Carlos shrugged
"Yeah. I don't know if I'm ready to be on my own."
"You will have alex there"

We arrived back home safe.
"WELCOME HOME" I hear as I come in
"Guys, you didn't have to..." I say
"Of course we do, we won't be seeing each other often, and we have missed you a lot!"
"Guys" I go for a group hug
"I love you guys" I tell them
"Alicia can I talk to you?" Alex took pulled me outside
"Alex, whats up?"
"Be honest, your sick right?"
"Alex, no I'm not"
"Yes you are"
