[Third person's point of view]

A week passed by in a flash. Over the week, Seiryuu and Akaashi had been staying at home, doing their piles of homework. He helped her with subjects that she wasn't good at, and she was impressed by how intelligent he was.

Today was a Wednesday morning. Just when the first wave of sunlight shone through the window, Akaashi's eyes fluttered open and he got up from bed, doing his morning routine and prepared to leave for morning practice.

He had a match with Itachiyama later on in the afternoon, so he was extra alert today and reminded himself not to overwork his body later on during practice.

He stared at her face, her lips slightly parted and she looked so at peace. He decided to let her sleep a little longer, so he pressed a soft, gentle kiss on Seiryuu's forehead before leaving for breakfast and morning practice.

[Seiryuu's point of view]

Ah, I'm so late! Why did I oversleep for school? I'm going to get detention and miss the boys' match against Itachiyama!

Probably because I was binge watching Naruto Shippuden until midnight. I facepalmed myself for being so careless.

After 20 minutes, I was ready to sprint to school. I didn't even bother having breakfast as I was already late, so I quickly put on my shoes and bolted out of the door.

-

I scrambled up the stairs and ran past classrooms to get to my class. I didn't care about the curious looks from other fellow students, all I cared was whether the teacher would be kind enough to let me off the hook.

"G-good morning, sensei. I'm sorry for being late!" I panted and was surprised to see an empty classroom. I slowly headed to my desk and caught my breath.

Weird, where are they?

That's when I realised it's lunchtime. I overslept so much huh, it's almost end of lunch. Then I also remembered that the boys team are leaving the school for the match at the gymnasium. I missed my chance to wish them all the best.

I fished out my phone from my bag and video called Keiji. It rang for a few seconds before the line connected.

"Hello, did you oversleep?" He had a smile on his face and I could tell that he's trying to stifle a laugh.

Before I could even answer his question, the image of my screen changed and Bokuto-senpai's face showed up. I blinked and he yelled a 'hello, hey hey hey' at me in excitement.

"Hello to you too, Bokuto-senpai," I greeted and then the whole Fukurodani team came into sight. Akaashi had a frown on his face and I giggled at the funny scene.

"I called to wish you all the best! I hope to see you guys win later," I grinned and held up a peace sign. The boys yelled their 'thank you's' and then they hung up.

Then I slumped further into my seat, thinking about the match later on. If I go to the gymnasium after school, I'd be in time for the second half of their second set. But if I skip classes and go to the gymnasium now, I'd be able to talk to them before the match starts.

I was about to make up my mind when the teacher entered the classroom. My plans were ruined and I pouted, resting my chin on my palm in defeat.

-

My hand was sore after copying down the notes I missed. Thankfully Haruko was kind enough to lend me her notebooks so I could catch up with the lessons.

When the final bell rang, I picked up my stuff and dashed out of school with my team. We took the train to the gymnasium since it was faster than going by bus.
