Dark{Miles Fairchild x Reader}

𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲 {𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 3}

walked beside Miles.
"Why is it dark here?" I asked.
He didn't answer. I turned around for a second and when I looked back, Miles was gone. I went to hide a place, I really didn't like the dark.
I heard a person walk inside the room.
It couldn't be Flora, there was no light on.

It couldn't be Kate or Mrs. Grose, they were at the kitchen..
I stod up, and looked around to hear where the steps came from.

Someone grabbed my hand.
"Miles?" I whispered.
"Come with me." He whispered back and dragged me to a place.

"What are you doing?" I asked, grabbing his hand tightly.
"I'm trying to keep you safe, don't explore to much." He said and dragged me to a hiding spot.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"It's not what you think.." He answered fast.

"Wha-" He took his hand infront of my mouth before I could answer. I licked his palm
"WHAT THE FUCK." He was disgusted and whiped his palm against my shoulder.

"Don't cut me off! You don't own me! Let me answer!" I said, he gave me a stare.
"Shut up, no more questions.." He snapped.
"No, I'm not gonna shut up!"

He grabbed me by the neck and pinned me against the wall.

"He will find us, Flora will also find us if you don't shut up." He whispered in my ear, and took his hand away.
I looked up at him.
"Now my neck hurts, thank you." I said and walked away.

Miles followed me and took my wrist.
"The lights won't keep you safe." He whispered.
I shook my head.
"What do you mean?" I asked again.
"I will tell you one day." He said, he whispered in my ear.

Flora flashed the lights on us.
"Found you guys!... what are you guys doing?" Flora looked confused.
Miles let go off my wrist and backed off.
"Nothing." He answered.
"I'm going to sleep."

Flora looked at me.
"Goodnight!" She said and went over to her room.
Kate came over to me.
"Let me show your room." She said and opened a door, it was right beside Miles bedroom.

As we came to my new bedroom, Kate looked at me with serious eyes.
"Keep your door locked at night."
"If you hear something, go to the nearest person."
I just nodded. She went out of my room.

I locked the door and went over to the bathroom, I sat my toothbrush and hairbrush on the sink and then went in the bathtub.

After that I went to my new bed. It was comfortable. I took on an black oversized t-shirt and fell asleep.

In the middle of night I heard like someone was walking around the hallway.
I unlocked my door and went over to Miles bedroom, opening it slowly.

It wasn't locked

(this was actually chapter 3 but it wouldn't let me publish it)

Miles was asleep, I felt bad for bothering him. I looked down at him.
"Miles wake up!"
Miles woke up in a small shock.
"What? You shouldn't be in here." He yawned and rubbed his eyes.
I layed beside him, holding around him.
"I hate you." He whispered and went back to sleep.

When I woke up, Miles was holding tightly around me.
"Miles, wake up."
He pushed me then off the bed.
I walked over to my bedroom, taking other clothes on and went to the kitchen.

I sat down beside my new bestie Flora.
Miles was sitting right over the table, we made eye contact before kate began to speak.

"Miles, your school called. What happend?" Kate asked and looked at Miles.
"Nothing happend! Okay? My school isn't your business." Miles snapped and walked away.
I tried not to laugh, after sometime I went to the stables.
"Miles?"
I heard galloping nearby.
"Miles! Be careful, there is a ston-" I then saw him falling down the horse, and I ran over to him.
"Are you okay?" I asked and helped him up.
"I'm fine." He answered and walked away with the horse.
"Miles! Wait!"

Miles looked at me.
"What? What do you want?! Just leave me the fuck alone. Stop acting like you care, you aren't my girlfriend or something like that. You are just another stupid teen who can't respect others. No wonder you don't have any parents. Oh, yeah you probably didn't knew, but your parents LEFT you, because you we're an annoying ass child to deal with, I feel bad for your parents that had you!" He snapped.

I stod there in shock.
"Atleast my parents can come back for me." I said as a comeback and rolled my eyes.

Miles grabbed my neck again, pushing me against the wall.
"Never ever mention my parents."
I saw tears in his eyes.
"I-I'm sorry.." I said, before he let go of my neck and sat beside a wall, holding his head in his hands. A looked at him for a while before I heard a small sob from him.

Miles was just a boy, who miss his parents.

"Miles.. I'm sorry." I said and sat beside him, taking his hand.
Miles looked at me.
"It's 𝐹𝑖𝑛𝑒" He stod up and went to his bedroom. I followed him.

I walked in on Miles taking a shower.
"JESUS" I said and closed my eyes.

He was lowkey packing.

I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I opened my eyes.
"Have you learned to knock?" Miles looked at me, I couldn't stop staring into his eyes. I bit my lip

"Can I change?" He asked and grabbed my wrist.

"I don't know can you?"

I heard knocking at the door, we both looked at the door.
