Hindi pa rin huminto ang ulan. Ilang minuto na rin ang lumipas simula nung makauwi ako rito sa bahay. Ngunit heto ako ngayon, kasama ang isang bampira..

Minsan na wi-weirduhan ako kapag nagsasalita siya. Dahil hindi ko rin maiwasang hindi tumingin sa mga pangil niya.
Medyo basa ang manggas ng uniform ko, gayon din ang suot kong sapatos. Ngunit hindi na ako nilamig mula nung isinuot ko yung jacket na inihagis sa akin ni Mr. Vampire.
To be honest, I don't know what's weirder. Calling him "Mr. Vampire" or talking to him? Maybe both. He's a total stranger to me.

And there's a possibility na maybe, I'm the only one who could see him. I blinked my eyes consecutively to test whether I'm dreaming or not. Unfortunately, he's still sitting beside me.
"Why are you being nice to me?" tanong ko at tumingin sa gawi niya. I don't even know why the heck did I trust this guy.
"..." he remained silent.
"I don't know." pagkaraan ng ilang segundo ay sumagot na rin siya. You know what, I feel like he's not the type of person- I mean vampire that tell lies. How did I know? I also don't know.
"Maybe because," he paused. "You're the very first person I met after years hiding in the forest." he said in a genuine tone. "And.. I'm really sorry for what I did before. It was not my intention to do that, it's just.. I naturally act like that during full moon. Not being my self." Oh yeah, I remembered being scared during that time and thinking that it would be my last day. Running for my dear life.
"Are you real..and alive?" I asked after hearing his explanation.
"What?" he answered in a confused manner.
"You know. Like you could breathe and hear your heartbeat?" I pointed his heart, and he looked down. Don't tell me he doesn't know where his heart is located? Or maybe, vampire's heart position is different to us, humans.
