Sorry for all these author's notes, but I just realized something.
Okay so I haven't watched the show in a while but I forgot that it takes place when they're in middle school, to them starting their freshman year of high school.
But for me, that's too young for this story so I'm gonna make a small age/grade change.
Instead of ninth grade, I'm gonna make the gang be in tenth grade so that makes them sophomores. And Cameron is in eleventh grade, so she's/he's a junior.
It still makes sense, because (at my school anyway) grade levels are sometimes mixed in classes.
So Cameron is 17 going on 18 and everyone else is now 16 going on 17.
That makes sense, right?
I have a learning disability, so calculating stuff like this is confusing for me sometimes 😅
And I'm not really following the show's plot, but at some point I'll tie this story in to fit into the show's plot somehow. For right now I guess it's just my interpretation of the show?? Kinda??
Hopefully that clears things up in case anyone was confused. Because I kinda was and I'm the one writing this thing lol.
