"Yo, pretty boy! Is this seat free?"

Theo almost leapt from his seat as he was reading, until he saw shoulder length blonde hair and a cheeky grin. His facial expression showed weariness but also excitement, as he went to sit next to to Theo. He wore a red and blue jumper, some black jeans and some trainers. He sat next to Theo without another word.

"D-don't call me that." Theo finally said, trying to go back to reading. "It's Theo."

"Sorry, pretty boy." The male continued to grin and tried to take a glance at Theo's book. "Watchya reading?"

Theo rolled his dark green eyes moodily. "Great Expectations."

"By Charles Dickens?"

Theo nodded and tried to get back to reading.

"Sorry for disturbing you, pretty boy. I'll let you read."

An hour into the journey, Theo had just finished when a chocolate frog suddenly was dangling in front of the page he had finished reading.

"Want any snacks, pretty boy?"

Theo couldn't help but smile and put down the book so he could take the frog. "Thank you..." He said, opening it.

"Daniel Barcroft, pleased to meet you." The male grinned.

Theo smiled politely and sent to shake Daniel's hand before going to look out the window. Even though this boy seemed to annoying and almost flirtatious, he seemed to be nice. Maybe this wouldn't be too bad.

"Prrreeettty boy!"

A few years later, Theo and Daniel had become good friends. They didn't end up in the same house however - Theo ended up in Ravenclaw while Daniel was to be in Gryffindor, but they still were close, much to the surprise of many professors and students. Theo had been developed feelings for the flirtatious male but he wasn't going to say a word as of yet.

"What is it, Danny?"

"I need help with this essay for Mcgonagall." Daniel would regularly sneak into the Ravenclaw common room but none of the Ravenclaws minded. It's one reason Theo liked being in Ravenclaw. Most of them couldn't give two shits about what they were doing.

Theo sighed, running his fingers through his short, wavy hair after putting his book down. Daniel took the book and had a glance through. Theo started to notice small things about Daniel. The small smile as he looked at the book, holding it with care as he knew how much Theo loved his books. The long tangled blonde hair that he'd tie up when in class. The hazelnut eyes that focussed on every word.

'Daniel is so adorable' Theo thought as he gazed at the other 16 year old.

"Yo Theo?" Theo snapped out of his trance when he heard Daniel speak. "Can I borrow this?"

Theo hummed and then a smile formed. "If you do your essay with me, yes."

Daniel let out a whine before slumping down in the seat next to Theo. "Fine, pretty boy. But you better give me that book."

"Of course." Theo smiled and took out some paper and a pen from a drawer. "Now what do you need me to do?"

It was a year later. No one was in the common rooms so it was just Daniel and Theo. Theo was sitting on one of the couches and Daniel was lying on the ground near his feet, doodling something while using a book as a stand for the paper. It was peaceful and quiet.

Suddenly, Daniel looked up at Theo. "Uh, Theo?"

This caught Theo's attention. Daniel rarely called him by his name. "Daniel?"

"I have something to tell you."

Theo sat up and put his book down. "What is it, Danny?"

Daniel seemed to hesitate as he sat up himself. "I, uh..." he licked his lips nervously and looked at Theo. "Pretty boy, I like you. More than I should. I know you're not gay or anything but I hope this doesn't make you upset at me or anything...."

Daniel trailed off when Theo went to sit down on the ground with him. Oddly, Theo looked nervous himself. His pale hand was shaking and a small smile crept onto his face. Daniel hasn't seen Theo so nervous since he got them to sneak out one night to get a midnight snack back in their first year.

"Daniel? I like you too." The moment Theo said that, he looked away. It took Daniel a minute but he couldn't stop a grin from forming when he realised Theo was blushing.

A loud Yelp was heard from Theo as Daniel practically threw himself onto the Ravenclaw student. He hugged Theo so tightly Theo almost couldn't breathe. The boys just lay there laughing, Daniel's head rested on Theo's chest. The two clung to each other and Daniel smiled up at Theo. It was the same sheepish smile Theo saw when they first met. Theo got ahold on Daniel's robes and ended up kissing him. He hadn't felt anything like it and hoped he didn't scare Daniel. He relaxed a bit more when Daniel kissed back and held his hands.

When they pulled away, Daniel was grinning madly and Theo couldn't help but grin back too.

"Hey Theo?" Daniel slowly asked. "Do you wanna be my pretty boy?"

"Don't you ever say such a cheesy, sappy thing ever again."

Daniel burst out laughing as Theo started to get up. "No! Pretty boy! I'm sorry!"

Theo pulled Daniel up and hugged him again afterwards. "You idiot. Of course I'll be your boyfriend."

"My pretty boyfriend."

"You're very handsome though."

"Fine. I'll be handsome, you be the pretty boy." Daniel grinned cheekily.

Theo shook his head and buried his head in his shoulder. "Alright, handsome."

Daniel stroked the other male's hair and smiled softly. "I love you, pretty boy."

"and I love you too, handsome."
