Friday night, I rolled a die.
My friends told me, I'm lucky to survive.
I smiled and said, let's call it a night.
As it passed midnight, there goes another game of Life.

Saturday hung over.
I was still sober.
I stood up and kicked a chair over.
Surprised,
My hands took over
I sat down, as the room grew colder.

Sunday, I put my hands together
I saw my breath as I sighed and wished The day would get warmer
I could feel myself getting sicker
Perhaps I needed to see a doctor

Monday, I didn't go to school
My friends texted to ask me
Where are you?
I didn't see the message
Someone in white had asked
How are you?
