Ever since high school, I feel odd. I know something has changed. I woke up in the hospital, next to me was my mother. She was exhausted and her eyes were red. I begged my family, friends, and staff. But nobody dares to tell me the truth. Zander and Hailey left my side, they abandoned me. They are keeping something from me, I tried to stop them. My old friends stopped me at the last moment. I watched Hailey and Zander vanished before me.
My memories are like a box of chocolates, pieces were looted. I hardly remember incidents from college. Then they came on one unawares night,
"Jake! Open up this damn door!"
I frowned through the peephole, Zander and Hailey were outside. I haven't heard from them for the past 10 years.
