"vinnie you can take me off pause now, i'm awake." khalieah said, flipping her camera so he doesn't see her face.
he took her off of pause. "what the fuck, what time is it there and why am i looking at cereal?" he asked.
"it's 7 in the morning, so it should be like 4 for you right?" she asked
"yeah, it is. can you see me?" he asked
she turned her camera to herself and laughed when she looked at vinnie. "boy i been able to see you, stop biting your lip it's not cute." she said
"ouch. this is coming from the same girl that asked me to blow her back out like the first or second day we texted."
"okay? and? i asked everybody that, you not special."
she set her phone up on the milk carton and began eating her cereal. vinnie laughed. "bro i deadass can't sleep. like, i've been watching anime the whole time you were sleeping but i didn't wanna hang up on you so now you're gonna have me up another few hours."
"no i'm not, nigga i got to go to work in a little bit. that's why i'm up so early." she responded.
vinnie groaned and khalieah stares into the camera with confusion all over her face. "emily just woke up, i forget she wakes up this early too."
"what she on about?" khalieah asked
"she asked why i never facetimed her back. i'm gonna tell her i was on the phone with you and it was important."
khalieah shrugged. "to be honest, ion think you should say that. if i was your girl id be mad as fuck knowing you hung up on me for another female." she explained
"but she's not my girl, and i'm not doing anything wrong. all we did was talk about our trauma and shit." he said "but okay i guess, i'll just not respond and act like i'm asleep."
"see no, i would hate to be your girlfriend. i would've flew my ass right to sacramento to beat the fuck outta you." she threatened
"lieah... it's seattle."
"ain't they the same thing?" she asked, picking up her bowl and putting it in the sink.
"no, it's not actually. and why do you only have a wife beater and underwear on?" he asked.
"because this is my mama house and i'm the only one up... plus this what i sleep in. what's the problem, vincent?"
"there isn't one, i just didn't ask to see your ass on my screen." he responded
she threw her middle finger up at him. "i would shake my ass, but i don't have the energy right now. anyway, i'm finna go get ready for work so i'll text you later."
"noooo i wanna see you get ready for work."
"and i wanna see you take yo ass to bed. i cant stay up past 10, and you're literally still up for what."
"key word, YOU can't stay up past 10. i'm a vampire, chomp chomp."
khalieah snickered. "you are so stupid, but no for real i'm gonna be rushing to get out the house fucking with you. go to bed, goodnight."
"lieah wait."
"what?" she asked.
"don't give your ex the attention when he's out of jail, he's obsessed and crazy and you deserve so much better. i'm always here for you, hope you know that. goodnight lieah."
