I look to Sam and see she is Turned away from us and freaking out. Please don't tell me she is a fangirl i think to myself. "Uh.... Y/n, miss?" I hear Marshall ask and turn to him "do You live here? Looks like we Are going to be neighbours" Wait what. Marshall goes to reach towards Sam when Bowser jumps in front of him growling. Strange Bowser doesn't normally act like That. I go to apologize when Marshall starts to gush at bowser and picks him up running and petting him. "Oh what a cwute puppy, cutie little puh-tootie" Marshall says in a baby voice. "I could just eat you up" I go to try to get Bowser back as i can see he is scared but Sam beat me to it. "Hey let Go of my dog, he doesn't like to be picked up by strangers" She says protectively well scooping up Bowser and cradling him. Trying to calm him down i per behind his ear which he loves. "Sorry i didn't mean to scare him" Marshall apologizes "i just have a soft spot for cute fluffy animals like him" He explains. "Normally i don't run into people like that, so here's a better introduction im Marshall la-" He goes to say extending his hand for a shake when my sister interrupts him "i know who You Are" She says with a glare "your Marshall law, an internet personality with over 3 million followers on viewtube" I look at her surprised as she continues "rated as the 67th most popular viewtuber, my sister being 63rd, gaining 125,000 followers a month" "Your videos consist mainly of playing survival horror games, but you also feature the occasional... Indie game" Marshall looks at her in aww "oh wow, are you and editor go my wikapedia page" He says thanking her for her hard work when i know go a fact she is not so how she knew all That i do Not know. I see her glare hardening before she says "no i am not and editor for your wikapedia page, my Name is Sam young and i am a game developer" One of the best if you ask my i think to myself Smiling. Marshall grow excited and starts to spew out questions 'like what company she works for if she is self taught, how long she has been developer and finally' "what games have you worked on" This one seemingly caught her attention for she answers with "ruminate" Marshall backs off "ruminate? " Sams glare softens a little into a look of sadness. "Oh i see, i suppose you have seen my recent video? Look what i said about your game i want trying to be mean" Wait is this why Sam was crying because of this jerk my face hardens "part of my job is to Properly review and critique games and im not known for going easy on them" " I know it can be hard to receive critique on something you have worked hard on,  but good and bad Reviews are part of the business and you will have to get use to them" I turn to look at my sister to see if she is ok when she yells "critique!? You didnt even play the game the right way, ruminate is and adventure puzzle game not a combat-RPG like You played it. The whole part of it is to solve the Challenges without violence" Sam exclaims "this was all in the introduction, didn't you read it?" She questions him "yes...? " He says more like a question then an answer "figures, forget it i don't expect you to care or understand" Pushing past him heading towards the stairs me right behind her. "Hey i get paid to  play Peoples games i did yours for free you Got a lot of publicity at no cost.... I did you a favor" Finally having enough of this i turn to Marshall with a deadly gaze "you have no idea what You have done do You? If you try to do her another favor i will not hesitate to sue you for a violation of her intellectual property" With that i turn around Grab sams hand and leave not caring if he had more to say.
Time Skip sams pov
Instead of going to the Icecream place my sister loves we decide to go to the cafe, the daily grind, where i finally broke down. "Sam? Bowser? Y/n? Y'all alright?" Dee the manager of the cafè asked i slumped down On to the counter while y/n leaned her back on it "im ready to log out of life now" I reply "whoa what Happened? " Dee asks taking Bowser into her arms before i could answer i get interupted by link "hey Dee i did inventory and who ever is stealing toilette paper needs to be stopped" He says "link not right now" Dee exclaims still trying to figure out what Happened. Seeing me he immediatly asks whats wrong not feeling up to talking i motion y/n to explain " Some jerk viewtuber played sams game and gave it a bad review so his fans Verger her Indie-dev page and and fragged her developer rating to the point that her account has been flagged" She said repeating what i had told her on the way here. "Im English? " Dee questions while Links says some of the words he knew. "An internet celebrity name Marshall law played my game and recorded a bad review on it, he then posted it to viewtube for everyone to see, then thousands of his fans went to my site and gave me a bad rating because of that my account has been suspended" I said finally feeling a bit better to talk. " I cant post any more games or get a job through the developer site"I say"isnt there someone you can talk to at indigineer" Link asks "i filed an inquiry with their customer service the automated message said i have to wait 48 hours" I answer "surely the will understand and fix this mess" Link states dee agreeing saying its hardly fair "i dont know i have heard of this happening before but they dont restore there rating" I say sadly "sorry Sam wish we could do something" Dee says "yeah but let Us know if we could help with anything" Link states after her " I mean i could do something i am a very Respect women" My sister says i shake my Head laughing "thanks guys" My sister hugs me and then turns when she Hears the door
Y/n pov
After comforting my sister i hear the Door open and see Angela and vikki stating they need caffeine badly before seeing Sam and me "Sam? Y/n? You have been crying and when did you get Back" Angela yells going into mama bear mode "who made you cry ill beat there ass" Before Sam asks what they are doing here so early "oh Sam darling dont cry" Vikki exclaims running towards her and pulling her into a hug "vikki and Angela are here everything is going to be ok, no More tears" She says cuddling into Sam. "Vikki im fine really" Sam says as vikki lets go only for her to attack me in hugs "y/n your back when did you get here why didn't you call me" I laugh hugging her back "good to see you to vikki" I say blushing slightly with a smile "hey Sam? Y/n? How about coffee and a walk" Angela asks i look to Sam and see that she is still down and could use a walk "yeah that sounds nice" I say holding sams hand
Time Skip
After explaining what Happened to Angela and vikki we sit on a bench only for Angela to get Up a say threateningly "damn that Marshall law im going to kick his ass" I laugh slightly at her antics "assault would be unwise" I hear vikki say next to Me "well what else can i do he screwed Sam over we have to do something" Angela says still angry over the situation. "Though it Was Marshall who played the game wrong it was his fans who did the damage not him" Vikki says with a calm tone "sounds it Is his fans to blame in this instance" I nod my Head agreeing "well that shouldnt be a problem i can just play the game and have my followers go give it support" I say looking at Sam who is deep in thought. Before i can calm her down i can see she is having an anxiety attack and reach for her inhaler handing it to her running her back to help. "I-Im sorry" I hear her say in between breaths "its fine Sam" Angela says softly " He was wrong Sam ruminate is a great game" Vikki says supportively "shes right. Its different and that is What makes it so great" I say still rubbing her back "thanks guys i really needed to hear that" She says Smiling. "Of course we're your biggest fans" Angela says hugging her "on a fun note do y'all want to come over and see my progress on my manslayer cosplay? " Angela says looking right at me knowing i wont pass this up "im making chicken dumplings" Mmm that sounds good Sam looks at me with a knowing face "im good i got to do laundry or im going commando tomorrow, but seems y/n would like to go" She says "ew gross do You Need is to walk you to your apartment in case you bump into marshmallow again" Angela says taking hold of my hand "im good ill be fine on my Own" I look at her with a worried look "your sure you Don't Want me to come home with you" Sam Smiles "its fine y/n you Go have fun you havent seen vikki and Angela for awhile we Can catch up when you get Back Home" She assures me "ok i just know your not big on confrontation" I jokingly say "im sure ill manage" We All look at her with faces that say 'yeah right' "... What?" We All laugh together and then bid fair well taking vikki and angela's hands we start to walk to there apartment "i hope she will Be ok" Vikki says "shes a big girl she'll be ok" I say having faith in my big sister
