James looked at me as we sat down on the couch together.
"What?" I asked.
"When are you going to leave this place and ya know......make your own loop?" He asked.
I furrowed my brow, I hadn't really thought about leaving...
"Uhhh- I'm not sure." I said while looking down.
"Oh come on- you're an ymbryne after all."
"I know but....I don't want to leave Miss Peregrine..."
"Why?"
"Because she's been more of a mother than my actual mother."
"I see..."
"You do?"
"Well- I can imagine what you're feeling."
We both looked at each other.
"I know I have to make my own loop eventually." I said with sadness in my voice.
James sighed. "I'll be ready to leave when you are."
