Chapter 2

(Ava's POV)
I watched the boys; they were looking for seats. Looking around I saw girls pulling up their skirts and making their boobs look bigger. They cat called to them, but both boys just walked right past them. Quickly realizing they were walking to the two seats next to me.

'God damn it' 

They indeed take the two unoccupied seats next to me. I could see girls glaring at me and boys glaring at the two idiots next to me. The two boys next to me were just smirking the whole time. Rolling my eyes, I stare back at the teacher and the lesson. Tom and Lucas were just messing around the whole time. I sighed in relief when the bell rang, I jumped packing up my stuff before leaving as fast as I could. 

I walked into my science class taking the back seat. I listened to Mrs. Cashman blab about the rock cycle and a bunch of other boring stuff for fifty minutes. When the bell rang, I nearly groaned out loud because that meant I had to go to gym glass -see this is what happens when you fail gym class your sophomore year and refuse to take it your junior year

I went to the locker room and changed into my gym clothes. Fairly sure this class went slower than my other ones, but whatever. I get back into my regular day clothes. I drop my stuff off at my 5th period, which is history. I then met up with Callie in the lunchroom

"Hey Callie" I say giving her a small smile and wave

"Hey Ava, let's get some lunch" she says as we hop in line, grabbing our food and heading back to our table in the corner of the cafeteria

"So... have you seen the new boys?" She asks munching on her salad

"Yeah, I have" I answer eating my pizza

"They're hot right? I have Tom in my third period for history" she chirps, eating her salad

"Yea, they're hot.... but full of themselves" I say motioning to them at the bad boy table behind her, the one named Tom was making out with a blond girl

'We are in the school cafeteria; don't they have some respect for people trying to eat?'

"You're staring" she comments

"Zack is over there" I roll my eyes

"It's ok, hey want to go to the gym after school and practice? Besides, you and I have a fight tonight anyway around eight to nine" she says finishing her salad

"Yeah" I say finishing my pizza

We finish and throw our trash away. As we are walking out, I glance at Zack who is staring at me. I send him a glare and leave the lunchroom, to my fifth period. As I sit down in my seat, in the back. I pulled out my notebook and start to draw, until class starts. 

Halfway into class my brother Zack and Tom walk into class laughing about something. Ms. Loveheart yells at them, then tells them to sit down. Zack comes and sits next to me, where he always sits, and Tom sits on the other side of him. I put my head down as they messed around and the teacher, well teaches. I was glad when the bell rang

'Two more class periods left' 

We were doing portraits today in art class. Pretty soon I was in seventh period, I am an office aid. I sat in my chair behind the small desk in the corner of the office. I did the paperwork the other aids did not finish. The bell rang at two forty-five, signaling school was over

I walked over to my truck and pulled the tailgate down. I throw my backpack in the back and hop up on the tailgate. I play on my phone waiting for Callie to get here

"Heyyy girllll" sang Callie popping up on the tailgate, 15 minutes late

"Hey Callie, ready to go finally?" I ask hoping off the tailgate with her

"Yeah, sorry had to help a teacher out" she answered

"Ok" I say as we walked over to the sides of the truck

"Hey Ava, where are you going?" Asked what sounded like Zack

'Shit' 

"To Callie's house for a bit. Don't worry I will be back by eleven tonight" I lied and hopped into my truck

"Ok, see you at home" said Zack walking off. I sighed
