The Silver Linings

A Recollection of Our Teens

Classroom filled with more memories than the knowledge we should've learnt.

The memories of our teens,

How friendship starts without anybody noticing,

Those "good morning"s and "see you tomorrow"s were genuinely exciting,

Those days where homework, quiz, and exam were our only "this is really stressing"

Those memories of our teens,

We may have different ways of remembering our teens,

Well more or less it was like these; 

We followed silly trends that once was cool,

Hanging out as a group,

Creating silly names to address one another,

And some of us fell in love with the coolest students in school,

How we made fun of our teachers and then being scolded right away

How we got bad grades but laughed anyway

How we took chances to skip class and then being punished by the teacher right away,

How we spent our lunch break together at the same exact table in the cafeteria every day,

Love confession was the biggest news in school,

Don't forget those who tried their best to look so cool.

The story of ours never ended in the classroom.

It was also

Having lunch together at one friend's house known as the best camp

Going home together,

Got changed to regular clothes while waiting for another hang out invitation,

Those random late night strolls, 

Hop on those motorbikes without helmet on,

The random horror movie marathon nights

Accompanied by our favorite fried rice.

Those were the days.

The days of our teens.

We have had it to the fullest.
