Stop Over

Chapter 6

They stopped over before going to their destination. On a grassy field and some trees standing can be seen

Natsu and Lucy was playing with each other while Happy was sleeping. Erza was sitting and her back is resting on a tree with her eyes closed. Gray was on the carriage dressing up because Erza told him to.

" Oi Luce I'm going to chase you! " Natsu said while running

" Eh! You can't catch me Natsu! " She said while running and at the same time laughing.

" Stop it you. You guys are disgusting! Flirting here and there. Idiots." Gray said while jumping down the carriage.

" What did you just say you Ice Princess!! " Natsu said and stopped running and he gave a death glare to Gray

" Oh come on Natsu! I saw something wonderful there! " Lucy said and pointing at something. she heard Gray but she doesn't want Natsu to fight with him. Not when they're enjoying their time together.

" Let's go then! " He said and ran to where Lucy is

" Geez, They kept on flirting and it's disgusting. Who knew Natsu will be like that " Gray said and sighed

He glanced in Erza's direction ' Oh look at her! Isn't she the most beautiful girl in the planet? Well, just look at her sleeping face ' He smiled and blushed. He walked to where Erza is and poke her in her cheeks. Erza's eyes opened slowly. Gray sat beside her

" Yo! " Gray smiled

" Oh Gray " She rubbed her eyes

" How long have I been sleeping? " She asked

" Hmm about 5 minutes? " He said 

" I see " She yawned

Gray smiled

" Why are you smiling? " She asked
'Damn she noticed me smiling at her. Better think of a better excuse ' He thought and scratched his head

" I-uh saw an insect in Happy's nose. " He said

' What in Fiore are you thinking Gray!!! ' He thought and gulped.

" I see " She said

He sighed and he saw Natsu with Lucy ' Geez, There they go again. I wonder when, Erza and I will be like that. Wait, Will that even Happen? ' He thought

Erza saw Gray thinking about something and she stared at him

" Are you okay? Gray? " She asked

Gray snapped out of his thoughts " Y-Yea--" He said and turning his head to Erza and he suddenly saw her staring at him her face is about 10 inches away from his. He blushed and He wasn't able to finish. He can clearly see every detail of her face.

" Gray? Are you sick? " She asked and looked at him with a worried look

" N-No!!! What makes you ask that? " Gray said and he was panicing

" Your face is color red " She said

" R-Really? " He looked away

Erza laughed

" What's funny! " He asked

" You look funny " She said

" H-Hey!! " Gray said

Erza stood up. "We must go"

" Y-Yeah " Gray said while standing up

Erza immediately looked at Gray as he stood up

" W-What?!?! " He said and he was still blushing and looking at Erza's face

She placed both of her hands on his cheeks " Oh! it's heating up! " She said

" S-Sto--" Before he could finish Erza's hand is on his forehead and the other one was on her forehead " Yeah it is hot. compared to mine. You must be really sick "

He slapped her Hands away from his face " Who told you that you can touch my face " Gray said still blushing

" but your sick " She said

" I'm not. It's just hot here and I'm an Ice wizard. This hot weather is too much for me " He said

" You have a point. Well then, Let's go " She said and she called Lucy and Natsu

' T-that was close! Oh Mavis! She held my face! Her soft and smooth hands. I thought I was in heaven for a second ' He thought as he held one of his cheek.

" Gray! Let's go! " Erza called out for him while she was outside of the carriage

" Okay " He said and ran to the carriage.

-- At the carriage --

Natsu is trying to puke while Lucy 's hand is in his back and Happy was looking at Natsu and he is trying to help him. Erza was eating her cake delightfully. Gray, who is currently seating beside Erza,  was just looking at the window and he has nothing to do.

" Oi Lucy " Gray said

" Yeah? "

" What is this job anyway? What are we going to do there? "

Lucy looked at Natsu and he grinned and Lucy smiled

" It's a secret Gray " Lucy said and still smiling

" I have a bad feeling about this " Gray said and he glanced at Erza. It seems like she has her own world while eating her cake. Not to mention, She was blushing while eating her cake.

Gray turned his head towards the window and smiled.
