The Job

Chapter 7

They reached the destination and they all went out of the carriage.

" Here we are " Lucy said

" Oh This house is big. Wait is this a mansion? " Gray asked looking at the big house. He is scanning everything.

" Yeah it is " Lucy agreed and smiled

" Lucy's house is bigger! " Happy said while flying in front of everyone

" Y-yeah " Natsu said while he's hands holding his stomach. Trying not to puke.

" Let's go " Lucy said and lead the group

--- 5 minutes later ----

An old man with fancy clothes greeted them. Lucy handed over the request paper and he nodded and smiled. He is the client. The old man let them inside and his servant closed the door and they sat on the sofa. Erza and Lucy is seating infront of him. While Natsu and Gray was standing behind the girls

" Thank you for accepting this job " The old man said and bowed

" No Problem " Erza said
' I wonder what this quest is. Because I really have a bad feeling about this and Erza, She also doesn't know what this quest is. I guess I'm not alone' Gray thought as he look at the old man

" So, What do you want us to do? " Gray asked with his hands on his pockets

" Oh, My apologies. Haven't you read the paper? It's there but okay, I'll tell you about it. There was a couple that kept on stealing our golds everytime we host a party. We held this party every year since I was married. And, 3 years ago they started stealing our golds."

" Do you know what they look like? " Erza asked.

" Unfortunately, Not " The old man said and looked at the ground

" I see " Lucy said

" We will try to catch them during the party. You don't mind if we join the party right? " Erza asked

" No, I don't mind at all " The old man said and looked at them with a happy look

" Very well. What is this party anyway? " Erza asked and crossed her legs

" Oh You didn't know about the party as well? It is also in the paper. But it is a couple's party. " The old man answered

" A couple's party? " Gray asked and stepped backward ' I really have a bad feeling about this '

" Yeah, You heard me right. Since my wife and I got married we always held this party. We always wanted to celebrate our Anniversary with young couples. Oh and only couples can attend the party. I forgot to mention that. " The old man said with a smile on his face

' ONLY  couples can attend?!?! Give me a break here. So Lucy and Natsu are definitely a couple so that leaves me and ..... Erza?!?!' He thought and he blushed

" Okay! We will do the quest! it will be tomorrow right? " Lucy asked

" Yeah, Tomorrow night. You guys can spend the night here if you want " The old man said and stood up

" Thank you! " Lucy stood up and bowed

" Just wait here and I'll ask my servants to prepare the rooms " the old man said

" Thank you sir " Lucy said and the old man left

" Okay then, Gray and Erza can you be a couple? Just for tomorrow? " Lucy asked with a puppy eyes.
