UM: Chap 38

Right path

Jackson and I decided to visit my parents in our mansion here in Manila.

"Mommy, is that Tito Liam's car?" tanong ni Jacreio at tumingin sa likod kung nasaan nakasunod ang kotse ni Kuya.

I nodded and smiled. "Yes."

"We're going to Lolo and Lola?" masaya niyang tanong at tumango ulit ako.

"Yehey! I'll play with them again! I missed swimming in the pool too!" Jackson and I chuckled.

"It depends if Mommy will let you swim," sabi ni Jackson na agad ikina-simangot ng anak namin.

"Mommy.. please? Please? Please??" Jacreio begged and clasped both of his hands on the backseat.

I grinned at him then shrugged.

Tumingin siya sa ama niya at humingi ng tulong. Pero maging si Jackson ay itinaas lang ang mga kamay sabay turo sa akin.

"I'm under your mother, Jacreio. Malalagot tayo kapag pumayag ako," sabay tawa ni Jackson.

Matagumpay akong ngumiti sa anak namin na papaiyak na. Namumula na ang mga mata nito at isang asar na lang siguro ay bibigay na.

"But I like to swim.." he mumbled and looked down on his little hands.

I saw how his chest moved because he's now crying. I laughed hilariously because he's too cute when crying. I immediately reached for him from the backseat and let him sat on my lap as I hugged him.

"Mommy was just joking. Iyak agad, 'e. Tahan na," pagpapakalma ko sa anak namin at sinilip ang kanyang mukha na patuloy pa rin ang pagtulo ng mga luha galing sa mga mata.

"Your mother is a bully, Jacreio. Don't be like her," sambit ni Jackson habang nagda-drive.

I playfully hit his arm. "I'm not a bully."

He shrugged his shoulders. "So anong tawag mo sa ginawa mo sa anak natin?" mapang-asar niyang tanong at sumulyap sa akin.

I rolled my eyes on him. "I'm just kidding that I'll not let him swim on the pool! Nakisali ka rin naman," I fired back.

Jackson licked his lower lip and his hand landed on my thigh.

"Okay," he answered and we already reached our mansion.

The gate opened and Jackson entered the car.

I rolled down the window and smiled at the guard. "Thanks, Kuya."

"Welcome, Ma'am!" at ngumiti rin siya.

I chuckled at him and closed the window again.

"May gusto ka sa guard?" biglang tanong ni Jackson.

My brows immediately arched and hit his arm again but Jackson just laughed and squeezed my thigh a bit which sent shivers down my spine.

I cleared my throat and shove his hand on my thigh.

"What?" he innocently asked but he keeps on laughing. I rolled my eyes at him and just looked at Jacreio.

Tulala.

Hinarap ko siya sa akin at nginitian. Namumula pa rin ang ilong niya kaya't pinisil ko iyon. Iniwas niya ang ilong sa akin at sumimangot.

"You're mad at Mommy?" I asked him softly.

"I can't get mad at you because you're my Mom," he whispered and looked outside the window.

Jackson parked the car on the free parking space before he turned off the engine.
