RUNNING THROUGH the hallowed halls of Hill Valley High, Stella passed through the crowd of students. Finding it strange for her to be in such a hurry they only watched her continue to try and make her way towards her destination. Stumbling upon Amanda leaning against Mickey's locker with Jennifer she was now completely out of breath.
The girls looked to her confused as Mickey only laughed over the sight before shutting her locker. "Queen Bee, you know you could've flown over here," She mocked in reference to her popularity status.
"Why in such a hurry anyways?" Jennifer asked, watching her blow her curls out of her face as she tried to regain her composure again.
She suddenly had a toothy grin to take Amanda's hand suddenly in hers. "Jeez Stella this is so forward-" Running in the opposite direction now side-by-side, the sudden physical activity wasn't exactly something she was looking forward to doing. Struggling a hold on her textbooks and her glasses nearly falling without a free-hand to hold them down she now stood in front of the doors to the gym. The way Stella appeared suddenly over them being here made her question the whole ordeal. "Are we gonna head inside or?"
The sound of a guitar came off from the other side for Amanda to look over to the doors questionably. Turning back to see Stella motioning you enter inside she shook her head with a chuckle under her breath. "They're gonna get detention for this."
"Just go." Jennifer and Mickey soon caught up behind them for Amanda to open the door for them to enter. Finding the gym now decorated and completely trashed with the Pinheads banner in the back, students soon followed to rush in at the concert that had ensued.
Mickey grinned widely in approval to lightly hit Stella on the arm. "They really are a bunch of idiots."
Marty stepped up to the microphone with a confident grin. Looking out to notice Amanda at the corner still by the doors he beamed over to her in approval. "This is for the biggest softie I know." Flushing red over the sudden gesture for them to continue playing the track for the student body before them.
"He's so in love with you," Jennifer noted shaking her head over the boys playing at the gym.
Amanda smiled over the thought and moved closer inside. "The feeling is more than mutual."
"There's never been anything that any girl could say
There's never been one got to me anyway
And I sure thought I knew my heart too
I got eyes but I didn't see you coming
You could have been just any woman."Marty smirked to himself over the track before shootings up to specifically look at his girlfriend. She easily stood out to him despite gym now being full with those meant to have left home for the day. She was everything to him. Maybe it was his own ambitious outlook on their future, but any grand gesture deserved to be bested just for her. It was only right.
"And if you are why am I so blue
It must be you."Their version of the Huey Lewis track that she knew Marty picked purposefully because of how much she adored it continued to echo throughout the room. It was him doing the most just for her because he loved her and she had to admire the amount of effort he always took to try and do so. The hopeless romantic in him always won out, which Amanda was now more than smitten over.
