Chapter 012: Drunk In Love

Hinatid na namin sina Rina sa garage because it's getting late na rin at may pasok pa bukas ang mga bata.

"Thank you for the wonderful dinner, Daniel."

"You're welcome, Rina."

"Storm, I trust you and Rigel." She reminded him again.

"Opo, Tita. Uulitin ko po, hindi ko po sisirain yung tiwala ninyo. Promise po."

"Bye, Tita. Good night po!" Summer hugged her suddenly. Rina bent down to give Summer a kiss and Summer kiss her back.

"Aww. How sweet of you, baby." Rina squeezed her cheeks.

She noticed the bracelet that Summer's wearing. "Oh, this is pretty." She referred to the friendship bracelet. The one paired with Katherine.

"Si Ate Kath po ang gumawa niyan." Summer said proudly.

"Si Katherine? Yung chaperone ni Snow?" She said giving the words with stress.

I smiled and nodded. "Yes."

"Ay, kilala niyo po siya?" Summer asked her innocently.

"Yes, Summer. I've met her."

"Oh, she's the best yaya in town!" Summer beamed proudly.

Well, she's always like that. Noon pa man, proud na siya and all of us here. We're so proud of her.

"Yaya?" Rina asked Summer.

"Opo, dati po pero ngayon po ay hindi na po. Kasi po magiging flight attendant na po siya."

"Oh gosh! I thought you two Daniel are dating. Sorry." Rina thought of mistaking and sent her apologies immediately.

"Ate Kath is super nice and parang part na rin siya ng family. So it would be medyo weird if that happens." Snow answered.

I just looked at my daughter the way she answered that. I don't know why she said that thing and what she meant of medyo weird as she gave emphasized to it.

"Mag-iingat kayo, Rina." I changed the topic.

"Thank you. Bye, everyone. Good night!" She bids and even Rigel waves her goodbye before riding in their car.

We waited for their car to go outside the garage as the gate closes automatically.

"Dad, salamat po ah?"

"You're welcome, son." I tapped his shoulder twice.

"Tara na, baby. All is well that it ends so well!" Snow and Summer go first inside the house and went upstairs.

TAPOS NA AKONG mag-aral. Tinantanan ko na dahil parang full memo na ang utak ko. Storage is full kaya ito, nagpapahinga na ako.

Ngunit gaya ng mga nakalipas na araw, hindi ako makatulog. Kung kahapon kahit papaano ay dinadatnan ako ng antok kahit sandali lang, ngayon naman ay ibang-iba. Hindi man ako tinatamaan ng antok kahit pagod na ang utak at katawan ko.

Tinabi ko na lang yung cellphone ko sa ilalim ng unan sa tabi ko dahil ayokong makita muna ito. May mga unread messages kasi kay Sir Deej.

Baka mamaya, mangisay na ako sa kilig dito at talagang buong magdamag ng maging hyper.

Kaso yung kilig ko, hindi sagad through the bones. Kumbaga, hanggang eighty percent lang. Nagugulumihanan kasi ako. Syempre, tungkol pa rin ito sa kiss. Yung kiss!
