"Can you fucking believe that they aren't letting me take that bastard down?" I rant to Ethan as we run laps around everyone
"You are on medical leave" he says
"And? I'm all healed" I say
"Not mentally" he says
"It's not fair" I whine
"Eden you broke your wrist, fractured three of your ribs, punctured your lung and you still want to get back out there" he says
"Your making it sound worse than it is" i say
"Am not" he says and I roll my eyes
"It's so annoying though, I get why they are putting me on rest but I can't handle living here" i say
"How are you coping? We all know the transition to civilian life is hard" he says
"I'm on edge all the time, even more so now I've got the dramatic duo outside of my house everyday, and following us around in class" i say running slightly faster
"Okay Ethan, Eden! Your done you can stop running!" The gym teacher shouts
"Not even sweating yet" I mumble as we run past him
"Maybe that's their way of telling me that I should just drop out of the army" I say
"Are you fucking kidding me?" Ethan asks me and i shake my head
"Your one of the best soldiers I've ever met, you've got so much left of your career don't give it up because sometime tried to kill you" he says and i nod as we lap people.
"Race you to the finish?" I ask him

I come out of the girls changing rooms and walk around for corner to see Ethan walking out.
I'm about to call him until I stop dead in my tracks.
I watch as Taylor kisses his cheek
What the fuck.
"Hey baby" she says
"What's up?" He asks her
I guess I thought maybe something could happen between us again.
But I'm so stupid.
Why did I ever think that something could happen between us?
I turn around and walk back onto empty the school car park and see the dramatic duo.
"Hey Eden" Ian says
"Hey Ian, Fred" i say with a sigh
"What's up?" Fred asks me
"Boy problems" I say
"Do you want to talk about it?" Ian asks and I shake my head
"No point" I say, "can you get one of the undercover students to be close protection instead of Ethan?"
"Why?" Fred asks and I turn around to see Ethan walk out with Taylor
"He's got his hands full" I say before turning around to face them again
"He's coming over here, I'm sensing something has gone on so do you want a lift?" Ian asks and I nod
"Please" i say
"A bit old for you aren't they?" Taylor asks me
"I'm not dating them" I spit
"How do you know them?" She asks me
"I work with them, they are giving me a lift to work" I say easily
"What do you do?" She asks me
"Security" I say
"We need to go" Ethan tells me
"I'm not going anywhere with you, you two can spend some time together. I have places to be, people to see" i tell him through gritted teeth
"Let's go then" Fred says as I get into the black Volvo.
"Don't you have a therapy appointment?" Ian asks
"Yeah, that I don't need" I scoff and he sets off
"I had to go through therapy after an incident" Fred asks me
"Did it help?" I ask him
"It did actually, it doesn't work for everyone though" he says and i nod
"Let's hope it can preform some miracles" I mumble
"Oh I need to go home and get changed as well because I have a meeting with the important people" I tell them and they nod
