Imagine: You And Josh try to have a baby

Week 1:

Josh and I sat in the living room eating ice cream straight from the carton while watching low budget horror movies. We just came back from our anniversary date.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too. Can't believe it's already been 3 years since the day we got married."

"Me either. I hope the memory of that day never fades."

I awed and pinched his cheek.

"I'm so happy to be with you, being married to you only gets better as time goes by." I leaned my head against his shoulder.

It was his turn to awe.

I rolled my eyes and kissed his cheek.

He does the same back then goes back to peck my lips.

"My wifey is cute. And hot. And beautiful.* Josh cooed against my neck.

He begins to plant butterfly kisses on my neck.

I giggled at the feeling.

He goes down to my chest.

"Uh... Josh..."

"Yeah?"

"I have something to tell you..."

He looks up at me.

"I decided to stop using the patch yesterday."

"The patch?" He looked at me confused.

"Yeah... My birth control patch."

"Oh, that bandaid you always have on your back."

"Yeah, I've been thinking, we've been together for five years... I know you've always wanted kids and i told you I didn't want kids until I'm married. Well it's been three years and I think it's been long overdue. We should add another addition to our family."

"Wow, Babe, I don't know what to say."

This is probably the first time ever Josh has been speechless.

"This is the best anniversary ever!"

I giggled and peck his lips.

"Should we go to the bedroom and make a baby right now?" He smirks.

"Hmm, sure." I chuckled.

Week 2:

I walk in with bags and a pizza box in hand, Josh looks over.

"Hey." He greets me.

"Hi. I got pizza."

"You know you're the best right?" He takes the pizza box out of my hand and I put away the bags.

He snatches the pregnancy test out of the bag.

"I'm pretty sure it doesn't happen this quick."

I snatch the box out of his hand.

"It doesn't, but I decided to buy the test now. It's an early detection test, it says on the box that I can take it in 2 weeks."

"You seem really excited." He smiles at me.

"I am, I think we would be great parents. I can picture you being a good father."

"Yeah, I can picture you being a good mother. You singing to the baby and me warming a baby bottle in the middle of the night." He wraps me in his arms.
