Prologue
I read this quote a long time ago. I've always liked it. The message was uplifting. It brought me hope. It made me smile - made me think that I'd be happy if I put myself out there more often. It didn't work. It just hurt me more.
They said,
"Love is like walking across a tightrope without a safety net. If you're lucky, you get across. But if you're really, really lucky, you fall - and you fly."
Well, I fell.
But I didn't fly.
