Beck was becoming more and more distant from his friends, and they became worried about him.

Andre and Tori had tried calling him, texting him, inviting him to hang out with the two teens. But Beck never answered them.

Ever since the one night stand with Jade that happened the night before, Beck really wasn't in the mood to talk to anybody.

He had hi in his RV the entire day, thinking about one simple sentence that made his chest clench and his stomach churn.

I don't love you anymore.

She had to still love him. She couldn't just automatically stop loving him...right?

She couldn't stop loving him, because he couldn't stop loving her.

He never wanted things to become so complicated.

He didn't even know what they were anymore. Exes? Friends? Friends with benefits?

He didn't know.

Andre and Tori had arrived at his RV that day, seeing the Canadian in his lazy state, and they needed to do something about it.

They weren't going to suggest going to Karaoke Dokie again, since they all knew how that turned out. But Tori had another idea in mind.

"You're coming over to my house tonight," Tori stated. "I'm inviting everyone over. We're hanging out whether you like it or not."

"Is Jade gonna be there?" Beck asked hopefully.

Andre and Tori exchanged a glance. "Yes, she will be there."

"Okay," he agreed, nodding.

Tori grinned. "Great! We'll see you then."

"See ya."

The two teens left, and Beck smiled to himself.

He was going to do whatever it takes to get the love of his life back.

-

"No."

"Yes."

"Nope."

"Yep."

"No."

"Yes."

Jade sighed in frustration, running her fingers through her raven hair. "I do not want to go to Tori's!"

"Too bad," Cat shrugged. "Tori invited us, and we're going."

"I'm not going if Beck is gonna be there," the goth finally replied, crossing her arms over her chest.

Cat bit her lip before responding, "Beck isn't going to be there."

Jade arched an eyebrow. "You suck at lying."

"I'm not lying."

"Yes you are."

"Nuh uh."

"Yeah huh."

"Okay fine!" Cat exclaimed in exasperation. "But you're still going whether you like it or not!"

"So bossy," Jade teased, rolling her eyes at her best friend as she slipped on her black combat boots.

Just as Jade began fixing her hair in the mirror, brushing it off her neck, Cat let out a shocked gasp.

"Oh my god, is that a bruise?"

Jade's brows furrowed in confusion. "Where?"

"Your neck," Cat answered, going over to the goth and pointing at the purple blotch on her neck. "It's a bruise."

Jade's eyes widened as she touched her neck, seeing the blotch and trying hard not to let out a strangled scream.

It wasn't a bruise.

It was a hickey.

"It's not a bruise, Cat," Jade mumbled as she grabbed some concealer and started covering it up.

Cat furrowed her brows. "Then what is it?"

"None of your business."

"C'mon, tell me!"

"No."

"Ugh, fine," Cat muttered as she started heading down the hall. "I'll be in the car."

Jade sighed and finished getting ready before following the red head out and into the car, driving to Tori's.

Just a little filler chapter.

Make sure to comment your thoughts! What kind of extreme measures do you think Beck will go through to get Jade back?

Until next time!
