A few hours later, Beck's eyes fluttered open and immediately landed on Jade, who was sound asleep cuddled up to his chest.

He smiled at the sight, pressing a soft kiss to her hair before standing up and heading to the bathroom.

After using the bathroom he rummaged through the cabinet- it was a habit of his. He didn't expect to find anything out of the ordinary, anyway.

But he did.

He came across a pill container, which he hadn't seen before, that held tons of different kinds of pills.

Now pills weren't unusual, especially like Advil and ibuprofen, but these didn't look like simple headache pills.

He didn't recognize any of the pills, and he quickly grew worried. He took the pills back into the bedroom, eyes fixed on the raven haired beauty who sat up in bed, now awake.

"What are you doing up?" He asked softly, sitting down next to her on the bed.

"You left," she said, rubbing her eyes. "And I woke up."

He nodded, pulling out the pill container from behind his back.

"What are these?" He then questioned, watching as her eyes widened.

"Pills," she answered. "Obviously."

"What kind of pills?"

"Headache pills," she instantly replied, playing with her fingers.

"Really?" He raised an eyebrow, opening the container and taking out a large blue pill. "Because these don't look like headache pills."

"You don't know anything about pills," she snapped, snatching the pill container out of his hands.

"I know that none of these pills are ibuprofen," he responded calmly. "Or Advil. Or any other headache pill."

"I need them," she mumbled, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Why?"

"Because I just do," she snapped again, placing the container on her bedside table. "Stop going through my stuff."

"I didn't expect to see hundreds of pills, Jade."

"It doesn't matter. Can we go back to bed now?"

Beck sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I just want to know what those pills are- "

"None of your business," she interrupted him in irritation. "I'm tired. Let's just go to sleep."

He decided to just let it go, nodding before kissing her softly.

"I love you," he murmured as she snuggled back into his chest, closing her eyes.

She smiled, softly replying before she drifted off to sleep. "Love you too."

-

"Oh my god, you guys are back together?!" Cat squealed, clapping her hands in happiness. "Yay!"

"Yeah we are," Jade said, smiling brightly. "Everything is going back to normal, huh?"

Cat giggled, nodding enthusiastically. "Yep! Oh, and me and Robbie are dating now too!"

"That's great!" Jade exclaimed, glad her best friend had finally got herself a boyfriend. "I'm happy for you two."

"I'm happy for us too," Cat grinned, taking a sip of her lemonade. "What's Beck up to, anyway?"

"He said he's hanging out with Andre," Jade shrugged, bringing her coffee cup to her lips.

"And you believe him?"

Jade stopped. "Why wouldn't I?"

"I'm just saying..." Cat frowned at her. "What if he's not hanging out with Andre?"

Jade narrowed her eyes. "Cat..."

"I know nothing!"

"Cat!"

"I don't know!"

"One."

"Oh god, don't count!"

Jade huffed. "Two."

"I'm not supposed to say- "

"Three."

"Okay, okay!" Cat sighed. "I just talked with Andre, and he said he's hanging out with Tori today. Not Beck."

Jade's stomach churned.

"Well what the hell is he doing then?" The goth pulled out her phone, dialing her boyfriend's number.

After four rings, Beck finally picked up.

"Hey babe."

"Hey," Jade said in fake cheerfulness. "Just calling to see what you're up to."

"Uh, y'know," he chuckled. "Just hanging out with Andre."

"Mhm," Jade's nostrils flared in anger. "That's funny, because Cat just talked to Andre, and he said he's hanging out with Tori right now, not you."

Silence.

"Beck?"

"You trust me, right?"

Jade raised an eyebrow, even though she knew he couldn't see him. "Depends."

"I'll be back soon," he promised. Don't worry about it, okay?"

"Beck..."

"I love you," he said quickly.

Before she could reply, he hung up the phone.

"Ugh," Jade threw her phone on the table. "We've been back together for a few days and he's already lying to me and keeping secrets for me."

"I'm sure he has a good reason- "

Jade cut the red head off. "What if he's cheating on me? Already?"

Cat sighed. "He's not cheating on you, Jade."

"And how do you know?" Jade's voice wavered a little. "He's cheating on me. I knew it. I should've never got back together with him."

"Jade- "

"I gotta go," she mumbled, standing up and rushing out of the coffee shop, leaving the red head alone and upset.
