A/n song at the side. Listen to it as you read. It goes along with the chapter.

Alex breathed slowly as Destiny's family chattered on as he sat in one of the seats further back in the plane. While he had been suprised that her father hadn't beaten him unconscious, it still did nothing to ease the pain and guilt that he felt inside. A dark shadow fell across him and he looked up into the eyes of Destiny's mother Marion. "Are you alright son?" She asked sitting in front of him, smiling a fraction.

"How can you smile when your daughter is missing?" He asked balling his hands into fists, continuing to beat himself up internally.

"Because I know you love my daughter and your love will bring her back to us," Momma Parker gave his shoulder a reassuring squeeze sitting with her daughters. He could see the pain in the older woman's eyes but he could see that she was holding the entire family together by not showing her emotions.

"Where are you Dessie?" He held his head in his hands and for the first time in his adult life, he openly wept. Little arms locked around his neck and he found Jeremy holding him tight.

"You're going to find my mommy right?" He asked looking up at him for answers. He could only nod as the little boy scooted onto his lap.

"Good. I miss her a lot. She missed my birthday and she never missed my birthday before," Jeremy's birthday had been the previous weekend and he had to paint on a happy face for the little boy who had become a major part in his life.

"She's coming home soon Jeremy. I can feel her close," He tried to smile, not knowing where to look for his woman but there was a low, sinking feeling in his chest that wouldn't go away. She had to be closer than he thought.

"Daddy?" Jeremy asked pointing to the television in front of them, seeing Jace's missing report on the breaking news. Suddenly everything began to make sense; from Helena's return to Destiny's disappearance. Dom barged from the front of the plane but he had a smile on his face as if he knew where to start the search for his sister.

"I know where to start looking Dom," He balled his hands into fists closing his eyes as the anger inside of him built up.

He silently prayed that he wouldn't kill Jace once he found him...

Helena gasped as she saw Destiny, chained to the bed like an animal. When she had disappeared, she had thought it was her opportunity to steal Alex away but she couldn't help but feel sorry for the woman now she saw the true circumstance.

"Destiny, oh my god. What happened to you?"

From the bed came the most gutteral sound. It was only then that she realized that there was a syringe sitting on the makeshift sidetable. She choked on the bile rising into her throat as she saw how out of her element Destiny was. To top it all off, she was naked and had dark bruses all over her body. Her left eye was so swollen that she couldn't even open it. Whoever did this to her, had to be the lowest of the low. Even though she wanted Destiny out of the way so that she could get Alex back, she could never justify this.

"Wake up Destiny," She shook the woman so hard that it seemed as if every movement was hurting her more. Helena rejoiced as her eyes opened painfully but sighed as they closed once more. Just as she was about to whisk out her cell phone, she felt it being snatched from her hand.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Jace leaned over her, capturing her lips in a brief caress. "I don't think Destiny is in any condition for company," He extended his arms out to her, helping her up from the bed where she had been sitting.
