You see her at the party,drunk off her parents liquor.
Out of all the girls your own age,you still point out and pick her.
You know she's not a girl 'like that.'
But here's the real picker.
All you have to do is wait until she's a little sicker.
Until she's blacked out,passed out,and dragged off by her friend.
And you offer her to drive her home because it's just around the bend.
But now she's 16 in your backseat,and too drunk to defend.
And now you'll be the reason why she's forever uncomfortable around men.
Now she's older and she's wiser and she's trying this thing called dating.
And she's learning that many men aren't too fond of waiting.
And this happened way too many time than she'll every be comfortable stating.
Because she knows if she did there'd be so many people hating.
There's people in this world that feel entitled just to take.
And there's far too many girls like this that men will break.
So let's make a society where we don't discount their stories as fake.
And we teach our goddamn sons why it's not okay to rape. 💜
