Chapter 16: Time for me to pop the question 💍❤

Shayne's POV:
I had grab some help from the Smosh boys. Tonight, is the night, I'm gonna ask Courtney to be my wife.
"Do you have the ring already?" Damien asked
"Oh...the ring. I need to pick it up. I'll be back " I said
I drove to the jewelry store to pick it up. I need to hurry as the boys are waiting for me back there. As I leave the store, I bumped into Olivia
"Oh, hey Liv" I said
"Oh, hey. The boys told me that you would be here, I just want to ask if I could help you guys woth anything?"
"We need you to distract Courtney, I'm sure she'll be calling you, asking you regarding the note I left her, just pretend that you don't know anything."
"Okay Shayne"
"Thanks Liv. I better head back to the boys, bye!"
"Bye"

Courtney's POV:
Olivia might know something about this note. I should probably call her up.
"Hello?" Olivia asked
"Hi, liv, it's Courtney. I've been wondering if you know something about Shayne asking me to meet him by 7:00 tonight."
"Nope not at all. He asked you on a date or something?" Olivia asked, in the of her voice, she was surprised
"Yup. By the way, can you, umm, can you come over and hang out with me today? That is if you're not busy or something..."
"Of course I'm not busy today. I'll see you after 45 minutes.
"Bye!"
"Bye!"
I waited for her, then after 45 minutes, exactly, she arrived.
"Hey bby!"
"Hi bby!"
"So what are we gonna do today?" She asked
"I don't know. Whatever we want maybe..." I replied
"Let's play uncharted"
"I'm down for it!"

After hours and hours of gameplay...
"Hey, girl you need to dress up, your date is gonna be two hours away!" She said
"You're right..."
We went to my bedroom closet, and took a look through all of my dresses
"What should I wear?" I asked her
"Sometimes casual maybe. Simple but elegant, but probably not so edgy" She replied
"How about this simple dress. Casual, simple, and not that edgy" I said showing her my denim, long sleeved dress.
"Exactly" She replied
I showered real quickly, after that I put on my dress.
"Make up time!" Olivia squealed in excitement
"I'll do your make up Court" She said
"Okay, thanks" I said
She starts adding a few things here and there. After a couple of minutes, she finished putting make up on me.
"We're all done" She said
"Oh my gosh! It's so nice Liv, thank you"
"You're welcome Court"
I decided to curl my hair a little. I look cute, honestly.
"So, are you ready to go?" Olivia asked
"Yes, I am" I replied
"I'll drive you there" She said
"No, I'll drive, since I'm the one who know where it is"
"Okay" Olivia said, pouting her lips like a 5 year old
I drove us there. We sang along to "Love me like you" by Little Mix. We were just laughing and dancing inside the car.
As we arrived, I saw Shayne's car parked there.
As I went out of the car, I was greeted by flower petals leading me through the way. At the end of the path, I saw Shayne with his maroon and half unbuttoned shirt and black jeans.
"God, he is so handsome" I thought to myself
When I was on his reach, he grabbed my hand and squeezed it in a caressing way. After that, he kneels on the ground, he pulled out a little box. He took a very deep breath before speaking

"Courtney Ruth Miller, the first time I saw you was during the call back auditions. I said I'd see you at work, when I still wasn't sure if the both of us would get in, but look at us now. I was so scared of asking you out, but I'm so happy that I did. After a month, I learned that you're my my cousin, but we didn't gave up this love that we have for each other, we're the odd couple and we don't give a shit about anything. Ha. We've been through a lot, and we're always better together. So now I ask you, will you allow me to spend my whole life with you, will you marry me?"
I cried so hard
"Of course yes!" I said
I put my arms around him, and then I kissed him, like how we kissed before, it was yet again magical and powerful.
"I love you" He said
"I love you too"I replied
