Preparing for a misson is easy. The hard part is preparing those who care about you for the possibility you might not come back. Telling my freinds that i was leaving was awful. Especially telling Logan. He already knew of course he had helped his father prepare for our assignment meeting. But still the sadness in his eyes as he said his goodbye so formally. I could tell behind his facade of reason that he was going to be heartbroken if i didnt return. Dee just handed me a talisman and said good luck. What else should I expect from the magi child he is. I stopped by the kitchen for supplies and overheard Ro saying goodbye to Patton the chefs son. I knew he had an inside man. No way was he randomly getting chocolate deserts every night. Roman saw me gathering supplies and asked if i would pack his bag too while he said goodbye to Remington his best freind and fellow knight. I agreed on the condition he asked patton to make us some cookies for the journey. [Patton of course had already made cookies] After our goodbyes Roman and I mounted our steeds. And set off. Im sure everyone was wondering who would complete their misson. And who would return.
