Day 3 of traveling. We are about a days trek from the woods that our quarry reside in. Yesterday was far from eventful. Highlights include Roman complaining his arse hurt from riding and me dumping water over his head during lunch. Today we should be passing through Glenside knowing Roman hes probably sent word ahead and let the town know its princes will be staying the night. I wouldn't be surprised if theres a fanfare and parade waiting for us to satisfy his egos flair for the dramatic. Im grateful for a warm meal and an actual bed for the night. I keep trying to write a final final farewell for Logan. I feel bad for not telling him how I truly felt before I left. Not that a letter from a dead prince would lessen the blow of last words of a man who loves him.
Perhaps this journal will end up being my note. The tales of Remus spread through the countryside. The last thoughts of a man at odds with his future.
