I bit my lip, waiting for at least a knock on the door. Henry was coming over for dinner tonight. What if he just forgot to come over after work. Or worse, got into a car crash? Or maybe he just got held up at work with customers. I'm overthinking this all. All this negative thinking is bad.
"Still not here yet is he?" Michael asked me, as standing by the entrance to the dining room, "fuck, I'm hungry". I stared at Michael frustrated. "What? I'm starving here! Did you forget about me!" He exaggerated.
"Michael, the food is still cooking...plus you can literally buy your food or at least cook your own food, you're a grown-ass adult, just like me!" I stood up from my wooden chair.
"Father, that sounds like a lot of effort when I could rely on you for it, you think poor me can do that, I'm so sorry to say though dad, I'm not capable of that" Michael exaggerated even more. God, he's such a brat.
"Then go practice, chOP CHOP!" I clapped my hands twice aggressively. Michael made a long, loud sigh, rolling his eyes.
"But dad, I'm just a 5 year old just like Elizabeth"
"But she's....like, 9?" I stared at Michael, confused
"Oh, I mean Louis, I'm a 5 year old like Louis! Sorry I got them mixed up!" He shouted
"He's fucking 8, how are you getting this mixed up? And Michael, you're 22, if you mean mentally your 5, you Morely act like an edgy 12-year-old who tries their best to be edgy" Michael stared at me with the expression of  'I've been outsmarted'
"FUCK!" He yelled, running off. The actual fuck did I just watch happen?

I heard the sudden knock on the front door. I walked quickly to the front door, opening the door widely. Henry stood there, smiling awkwardly, "Sorry I'm late, customers get in the way.." he greeted me
"Oh it's fine, it feels like your no even 30 minutes late" I grinned slightly. I let Henry inside, closing the door after him.
"Wow, I haven't been here in ages, you've changed it up a lot," Henry told me, "so what's for dinner?" He questioned
"Steak...and chips," I told him.
"Any dessert?" Is this like some survey?
"Depends" I chuckled.
"Oh, and what is this desert?"
"You'll...see?" He laughed at me, I sweated, not sure what to say. He went silent too, grinning softly, peering through my eyes.
"So uh...would I happen to be able to stay over tonight?" I nodded
"Yes, of course, you can" he wrapped his arms around my body gently, resting his head on my shoulder.
"Thank you William" he whispered to me, I hugged him back tightly, running his back.
"Are you alright?" I asked him. He looked at me.
"Wellllll, yeahhhhh, I just think I've been overworking" he answered
"Then take a few days off, I can work those days, or Scott can run it for a bit" Henry stared into my grey-blue eyes.
"What if I'd like to spend those days off with you?" He questioned as he slightly blushed.
"I mean...if you'd like that" he moved his arms to my shoulders, wrapping them around my neck, playing with a floofed up, dark purple hair of mine.
"Well, why would I ask you that?" He giggled, "of course I'd love to spend time with my darling" I blushed darkly, kissing him quickly.
"Well of course I'd love to.." he smiled, then kissing me deeply and passionately. I kissed his loving lips back gently, going deeper into the kiss more by the second. He grabbed my cold, pale, hands as we kissed. His lips were so soothing but sweet. He pulled away from the kiss, looking at me lovingly.
"Uh, William, is something burning?" Henry questioned.
"Oh yeah...the steak-- let me go check on that" Henry laughed a little, I quickly just walked into the kitchen awkwardly.
