I remember our time together.
The love and pain of it all.
You were my bestfriend and I was yours
Or at least that's what I thought.
I thought our friendship wouldn't break
But that was all a hopeless lie.
How could you, my bestfriend,
Wave me off without a goodbye.
You were wrong,
To treat me this way
When I stayed by your side all day.
You weren't the friend to me,
That I was to you all along.
What happened
For you to break our bond.
I thought you were loyal,
And I hope that was true.
But something went wrong
And there's nothing left to do.
Our friendship lost
As I sit here and think.
The angels weep instead of sing.
