Taehyung's POV

When I ran into Jin at the grocery store, I was in complete shock. I didn't expect our first meeting to be so soon.

I wanted to at least have my house fixed up a little before. Just on the off chance he'd ever agree to come over. But alas, it was not to be. We had to cross paths in the frozen food aisle of all places.

All the emotions I had been holding in for the past few days, burst forth as we stood. I cried out his name. But he ran from me.

I immediately ran after him, desperate to speak to him. But he kept ignoring me. Until finally his anger got the best of him and asked why I was there.

I didn't know what to say.

My brain stopped working and I couldn't form a complete thought to answer him. He stared at me with tear filled eyes, and when he didn't get a response he scoffed. Then paid for his groceries and walked away.

I watched him exit the store until the cashier yells out.

"Yah! Are you gonna pay for your stuff or what?" I then slowly nodded at her and started to place my items on the belt.

She would look at me every once in a while and she finally said, "I don't know what you did, but you look guilty as hell. So I'm thinking you cheated on him and he made a run for it. And you followed him here."

I rolled my eyes at her and just asked her how much my total came out to. She also rolled her eyes and told me the amount.

Once I paid I walked out with my groceries to my car. I was hoping I'd catch Jin out here, but he was long gone.

I passed by Jin's place as I drove home. It was gonna be dark soon, and I saw when he turned on his porch light.

I parked my car on the side of the house where he couldn't see if he tried looking out his window. I still had hopes to speak to him soon.

Jin's POV

I got home carrying my bags of groceries. And I was still shaking. I had to pull over earlier just to try to calm down. I can't believe I saw Tae here in town.

What the hell? Why would he be here of all places in the world? Doesn't he have a life back in Seoul?

I packed the food away and grabbed a water bottle. Then I went to the living room to watch TV for a bit.

I really wish I had thought to buy some beer, but I didn't. I will be sure to grab some tomorrow.

I looked at the clock and saw it was 9pm. So I thought I'd go get ready for bed. I know it's still early, but maybe I will get up early to make breakfast for Hae-in and I.

Once I showered, I wore some black shorts and plain white tee. I reached for my laptop and thought I'd catch up on my emails. I haven't checked any of my social media accounts or email since I moved here.

I had alot of junk mail, but I saw I had over a dozen emails from Hobi. I didn't want to read any of them. Nope, I just can't. The wound is too fresh for me.

I kept scrolling and I just put the laptop away and reached for my phone. I went through my Instagram page and saw alot of DM's from JK and Hobi.

I really need to deactivate my account. I ignored the messages and scrolled down. I had to sit up straight when I saw what Jimin posted a few days ago. I even forgot I had him as a friend on here.

There, on his page was Jimin and JK with their hands all over each other. Mouths wide open like dead fishes, partying it up in a club somewhere.

He even made sure to tag everyone who was part of our friend group.
