christmas morning

A/N: it's nowhere near christmas but i am so excited for it! it'll be a little abnormal, celebrating christmas or hanukkah or whatever holiday you may celebrate around that time of year in quarantine

Enjolras:
- you both sleep in
- he wakes up before you and watches you sleep with a small smile on his face (this is not interpreted to be creepy)
+ he makes you breakfast after he kisses your forehead
+ "wake up, my love"
+ "no, let me sleep"
+ "y/n, if you don't wake up, i will dump cold water on you"
+ "ugh, fine i'm up"
+ he smiles and holds up the breakfast tray by his face
+ "merry christmas!"
+ "awww, thank you!"

Grantaire:
- grantaire is up as soon as the clock strikes twelve
+ he kisses your shoulder and quietly leaves the bed
+ once he is off the bed, he sprints to the living room to start organizing yours and his presents, preparing a fancy breakfast, and making sure that the christmas tree and other decorations are set well into place
+ you wake up shortly after the sun rises and step out of the bedroom to find grantaire sitting in front of the christmas tree, facing you, with legs crossed 'criss-cross apple sauce' holding a small present in his hands. he has a huge smile planted on his face
+ he acts like a child, but it is truly adorable
+ "merry christmas y/n!"

Courfeyrac:
- you have to wake him up
+ "wake up courf! it's christmas!"
+ "what? just yesterday it was halloween"
+ he stretches before grabbing your present from under the bed
+ you both exchanged gifts and then cuddled for the rest of the day

Jehan:
+ you both got up at the same time because prior to the holiday, you both set up plans for the day
+ you were going to take a stroll through the town, go ice skating, and share warm treats and drinks
+ you didn't get each other gifts because you had both agreed to give that money to the poor
+ "merry christmas mon cherie"
+ "merry christmas"

Combferre:
- he doesn't care too much for christmas (gift giving, caroling, checking to see if pére nöel ate his cookies, etc.)
- he just wants to stay in bed and cuddle with you
+ "come on comb! get up!"
+ "noooooooo. let's stay here and cuddle. hurry i'm getting cold"
+ "combferre."
+ "...y/n."
+ he eventually gives in and gets up but you both just end up cuddling and talking about anything and everything on the couch

Marius:
- he LOVES christmas traditions, it's not even funny
- one year, he dressed up as pére nöel
- this year he was obsessed with mistletoe
+ as soon as you woke up , you found his smiling face looking at you
+ "what did you do?"
+ "hehe, look up"
+ you look up and see, no surprise here, a mistletoe
+ "y/n you know the rules"
+ you roll your eyes and peck his lips
+ that happens like twenty times. just an estimate
