i huffed grabbing my keys. my dad's side of the family were having a family reunion today and obviously o had to go even though i don't want too.

"mmhm" she said before hanging up
by on my way i meant that i was pulling up and you better be outside. i rubbed my cheek contemplating if i really wanted to go to this bullshit. i huffed honking my horn waiting for butta to come outside.
"hey" she smiled
"wassup" i returned the smile pulling out of her driveway
"you sure you wanna go because ion even wanna go?" i asked her
i had invited nez to go with me but i was second guessing that decision. my dad's side if the family is messy and way too toxic to be around for more than thirty minutes, i was only going to see my pawpaw and then i was out that hoe.
"if you want me to go then i'll go"

we walked into the house and i looked for my grandma
