I ran down the stairs, past the dinning room...when I noticed dad sitting at the table....might wish him before I head for college
'Morning dad' I wished him with a kiss on His cheek 'Morning Valerie, you having breakfast at home?' I shook my head 'Just came to greet you' I smiled and walked out 'Have a nice day' he yelled out 'Same to you daddy' I yelled back and got out of the house to the garage
I got into my Audi and got it out of the garage and then drove my car into the city towards the University but first, I made a stop at my favourite Starbucks.
I parked the car on the side of the road and got into the shop
'Well, look who we have here?' Susy welcomed me as soon as I stepped in 'Hey' I waved at her and slowly appraoched the counter
'Well, what would like to have today?' she leaned over and asked 'I'll just have a mocha' I told her 'One Mocha coming right up' she said with a smile and went to make my mocha while I read the menu written on the top
'So, How's my favorite counter boy doing?' she asked me 'Nothing, just handeling things there' I replied with a smile 'It's been a while since he came over hasn't he?' she asked as she placed my cup on the counter 'Yeah, I don't know when he will' I sighed
'I'll also have a butter croissant along with it' I added to the coffee, Susy nodded and put one croissant into a paperbag and handed the coffee and croissant over to me
'Thanks' I thanked her 'Anything for my favorite customer! Have fun at college' she told me and then I left the shop and got into my car and started my drive to NYU.
I always wanted to go to Stanford, dad ruled out my plans to go to London...that was even before I met Jamie. Things happened and I landed up in New York University with the people close to me, miles away from me.
I took a bite of the croissant and drove down the streets of busy of New York where people rushed to the bus stop or went down the Subway to catch a train. I continued to drive.
When the road was smooth to drive on, I thought of taking a sip of my coffee but then again, never underestimate the traffic, I had to put the break. So I decided to have my coffee once I was off the driver's seat.
I reached Washington Square Park in some time, luckily found a parking near to the University. I parked the car and got out taking my bag and my coffee in hand, locked my car and walked towards the campus.
I wasn't very popular here in the University, I was popular because,
One, I'm the Starbucks Girl. My blog seemed to be a hit here in New York and California
and
Two, Girls wanted to get Patrick's number. I wonder what they find so facinating about him
I got into the building and walked down the hallway to the garden to enjoy my coffee but I bumped into someone and luckily, my cup was strong, so I didn't spill the coffee.
Lucky me.
'Watch where you are going!' I nearly yelled out to the person who I bumped into
'I'm so sorry, I was just finding my way here...it's confusing' he spoke to me.
I looked at him carefully. He surely did look new here, and pretty hot too
'Hey, aren't you but the Starbucks Girl?' he asked me 'Yeah...' 'My sister is a huge fan of your blog, it did change her life a lot' he told me 'Oh, that sounds cool, do you need help to get around here?' I offered him help
'Would you? I mean I don't want to bother you' he spoke
'No worries, what's your course?' I asked 'Business Management with Marketing' he answered 'You've got the same subjects as me' I realised and told him 'Well that sounds good. So what do we have first?' he asked
