2 weeks later...

"Cheers," Miss Natasha and Jessica chorused as they clanked their glasses of red wine together.

"Oh," Jessica moaned after sipping her wine, "This is the life. Swimming in a hot tub with a glass of wine after that awesome massage. I wish I could do this everyday."

Miss Natasha chuckled, "Yes my dear, If only wishes were horses," she dropped her glass by the side, "we ladies need to spoil ourselves every once in a while, you know?"

"I do," Jessica drawled out leaning back in the tub, "I just feel like all the stress I felt from work is literally just dissolving into the water. Like gosh! I feel good."

"You really are stressed, aren't you?"

"You have no idea," Jessica sighed.

"And is this stress affecting you in the other room?"

"The other—Oh my!" Jessica choked on her drink when she realized what her mother in law was implying.

Miss Natasha scoffed, "Jessica darlin' cough all you want but all I know is that you're gonna give me an answer even if I have to wait till next year to get it from you."

"Well..." Jessica started, she averted her eyes and fiddled with her fingers as she said, "It doesn't really affect it. Even if it did, Gillis will always find a way for us to tumble in the sheets," she smiled sheepishly.

Miss Natasha raised her glass, "He's a true son of his mother."

Jessica guffawed, "He is. He definitely is."

"So that means, I will be expecting my grandchild soon?"

"Ehhh? I...I..."

Miss Natasha narrowed her eyes, "What! The two of you aren't planning on having children?" She yelled.

"No oh!" Jessica said vehemently, "We both want children. I personally, absolutely adore children."

"Oh thank God," she held her chest.

"But we aren't exactly planning on having children now," Jessica said.

Miss Natahsa eyed Jessica like she just grew seventeen heads at once then after a brief pause she said, "I'm sorry can you come again, I think I got lost somewhere."

"Well, Gillis and I aren't planning on having children until after our first year in marriage—"

Miss Natasha scoffed loudly, "Honey you see that thing you just said right there is a load of crap! Baby girl, don't let anyone deceive you like that, I mean, just take it from me when I say that children are the life of every marriage. They're the reason you people even got married in the first place. You don't need to wait until one year before you start bearing children. Let me tell you why? Because it all gets boring, that's why! Your marriage will become so platonic. And trust me you'll become so sick of it that you'll start regretting getting married in the first place."

"But I really don't think..."

"You should really listen to me, Jessica," she said, "forget what you're saying and starting planning with your husband for your child Jessica."

"Oh okay," she muttered.

Jessica heard her alright but she still didn't think she was ready yet to be pregnant. She had always said that she would have a child after her first year in marriage, she wanted to take it slow; spend the first year with her husband preparing the nest for the young ones and also get to know her husband more intimately.
