Chase and Maia where walking to seton academy, the reason for this is because Maia slept in and ran in to Chase and he offered to walk with her, which she accepted. Right now they were at the entrance and they both stopped and saw Jin and Ranka had gotten into a stand off between a tomboy looking female spotted hyena and the same lions that king had to deal with a few days ago.

(A/N in the manga Yena was surrounded by the lions, the reason was ever said why, but my guess was probably territory battle)
"Looks like they got the whole gang" Chase said seeing more lions then later time. "Don't worry, I'll help them" Maia said confidently and dashed that at them, but when she got close the hyena girl jumped in the air and kicked one of the lions in the face. Maia stopped and smiled at seeing other female hyena showing how strong females can be and let the girl have this one.

As she was making quick work of the lions, a Male cave lion came jumping out of a bush from the hyena's right, the cave lion was wearing the seton academy uniform, he had no mane and his fur was light orange and in height a little taller then king. " after all these years, I've finally found you" The cave lion yelled as he raised his right fist and aimed it at the hyena girl, but surprisingly she blocked it with one hand.
