Leta stared into the room, tears brimming on her eyes, Vanya stood there staring at them all. She was utterly destroyed.
"You can't do this Luther. So what if she has powers. We all do! That's kind of the thing!" Leta shouted, holding back the anger boiling in her bones.
Diego nodded, his grip on her arm tightening. "And we don't even know for sure if she does."
"I do know for sure. Pogo told me. Him and Dad have known the whole time." Luther stood between her and her sister. Oh how she wanted to punch him in the face.
Diego looked back and forth from the clostrophbic space to Luther. "But why would they hide this from us. And I mean, am I the only one who didn't know this place existed?" He motioned around the enormous room and cell made for their sister. The cage she stood inside. "I mean, Leta, did you never hear him thinking about it?"
She pursed her lips. "I learned a long time ago to try and avoid his thoughts. You would do so too if you were me."
"He hid it from us because he was afraid..." Luther glanced over his shoulder at his pleading sister. Leta's heart ached. "Of her."
"He was scared of me too. I don't care. She doesn't deserve this. No one does." Diego sympathetically looked at her, but she ignored him. It wasn't time for him to feel sorry for her.
"That's ridiculous." Klaus said, looking between the two. "Right?"
Luther put up his hands. Shuffling back and forth a bit. "This means she might have killed Peabody, and cut Allison's throat."
"No! She wouldn't have done that. And-and even if she did..." Leta shivered, imagining the scene. "She couldn't have done it on purpose."
Klaus nodded, pulling his arms arkund himself. "This is Vanya we're talking about. Our sister. The one who cried when we stepped on ants as kids."
"I know it's hard to accept-"
"Hard?" Leta scoffed, attempting to pull away from her brothers, but they managed to hold her back. "Hard! She's our sister! It's impossible to accept."
"Leta, maybe we should-"
"Stuff it Diego. I'm done listening to this shit. You are letting her out of there, now!" She stamped down her foot, looking at Luther with a death glare.
"I will not. She is dangerous and we don't know what she's capable of."
She let out a low growl. "So am I you coward. You want to see what I'm capable of!"
"Leta stop." Klaus grabbed the back of her shirt, Leta attempting to yank away.
"Let me go!" Luther shoved her back, grabbing her hands as she attempted to connect them with his thick head. "Fight me like a man you coward!" She struggled to no avail. Diego grabbed her, restraining her hands behind her back. "Put me down Diego." Tears were boiling at the ends of her eyelashes. "Stop!"
He began to drag her backwards, her feet looking for any point to attach themselves to. She was not giving up. "Diego! STOP DIEGO STOP!"
Klaus's mouth gaped open, she couldnt hear what he was saying but it had to be some sort of protest.
Her body was wracked with sobs, lulling against him with all her strength but it was no use. "Diego... Please..." she was begging now. It was all she could do. "Don't let him do this."
"I'm sorry." He said, she could feel him shaking. "It's for your own good."
