'Never let your friends down. Or you'll regret it forever.'

"Meg! We're going to be late!" Elizabeth Bennet was currently standing at the bottom of the girl's dormitory stairs, waiting for Meg to finish getting ready for the quidditch match. Gryffindor was playing Ravenclaw in the first match of the school year.

Red and gold ribbons were threaded throughout Elizabeth's loose french braids and painted gold stars were perfectly placed all over her face in the same colors. Except for the blue and bronze socks she wore in support for Vivian's first game.

"Margaret Laughlin!" She was fed up with waiting for her blonde friend. She checked her brown leather and golden watch that was snaked around her small wrist.

'4:55...'

"The game starts in five minutes! Lucy is waiting for us!"

"Okay, okay I'm coming!" Meg came tumbling down the stairs and spilled into the common room. Elizabeth raised a pointed eyebrow at her appearance.

Meg had completely covered her face in red and gold face paint, not an inch of her face was bare. Her sunshine hair was pulled up into two high ponytails that were tied off with shiny maroon pompoms near the base of her hair. To complete the ridiculous get up, were two-toned stockings, her left leg was yellow and her right was red.

"What?" She placed her hands on her hips. "Is showing house pride a crime now?" Elizabeth's golden eyes rolled at her fanatic friend. Sighing, she hastily walked out of the common room and through the Fat Lady's portrait hole.

Lucy's tall frame was leaning against the opposite wall from the tower's entrance waiting for the pair, currently picking the dirt from underneath her fingernails. She was wearing a simple black sweater and trousers, but had blue and bronze lines under her eyes for house Ravenclaw's new seeker.

"I've been waiting forever, it could be over by now!" Lucy was just as extremely passionate about watching quidditch as she was playing it.

"Blame Meg, I was ready thirty minutes ago!"

"Boohoo! It takes a long time to look this good!" She laughed as the three fifth year girls ran down the long hallway and towards the stairs. Their black low-heeled Mary Jane's clacked against the cold stone as the made it to the moving stairwells. With the Gryffindor tower being on the seventh floor, the girls flew down the stairs, hoping to at least catch some of the match.

They had successfully made it all the way down to the second floor before a black blur flashed in Elizabeth's peripheral vision, catching only a glimpse of student's black oxford shoes before they had complete disappeared behind the wall. She stopped dead in her tracks as her body temperature dropped and her stomach felt endless.

"Come on!" Meg yelled at her from the first floor, ripping her gaze from the vanishing blur. Elizabeth walked over to the thick limestone railing and peered over it. "Elizabeth-!"

"I need to use the restroom." The words came out more coldly than she had expected.

"What? You were rushing me for thirty minutes and now you've got to pee?" Meg barked at her, unhappy with Elizabeth's hypocrisy.

"I'll meet you down there."

"Elizabeth, we'll wait for you." Spoke Lucy, Meg nodded her head in agreement.

"No! Don't miss more of the match than you already have because of my puny bladder. Go! Save me a seat!" She shooed them off gesturing with her hands, as if to push them down the hall.
