His Loyal Followers (Poem)

The fallen angel stood beside him, as his friend and confidant.

The kingly demon, lingering, to help him achieve the things he wants.

The mother he had never had, and her young blonde daughter, loved him like true family and walked into their slaughter.

The man who raised him like his own, proud to call him son, selflessly gave up his life and took a bullet from a gun.

Two lovely ladies, true patrons of the law, would turn their back to legalities whenever he would call.

A man who called him brother, and helped when it was time, chose to let his friend be saved and gladly stayed behind.

The sister he never wanted and didn't know he'd need, helped him out in secret, and lost her life for the deed.

The man who he called Dad, but wasn't much of one, made a deal with a monster and gave his life for his son.

The brother who looked up to him and always loved him so, knew that he should walk away so he let his brother go.

The people in his life, so loyal, brave, and true, all giving everything they have for the most loyal man they knew.
