Camila's POV

- One of the great things about having Sofi in California is that I could go out with her and it made me feel less alone. Besides, she could talk to her about whatever she wanted at any time of the day. On Saturday I could already smell summer, I could see how the street was full of people, and Santa Monica was no exception. It was all full of people, muscular guys and people on roller skates that made their way down the beach from Malibu to the pier.

- Sofi and I had gone out for a run that morning, shorts, tank top and those sports shoes accompanied us under the palm trees of Santa Monica.

- "So... Are you going to continue with your major?" I said with a shaky breath, listening to Sofi by my side as we ran looking ahead.

- "Yes, I don't want to continue doing something that I don't like." Her breathing was somewhat altered and turned her head to look at me.

- "What are you going to do?" We kept running , moving my arms to the rhythm that my legs ran.

- "Medicine." Sofi answered. I stopped in my tracks and opened my eyes, breathing even harder.

- "What !?" I said with my hands on my waist, starting to smile. Sofi turned to look at me and nodded, approaching me.

- "I like it and I want to be as good as you at helping people." She sighed and we hugged in the middle of everyone, with people on skates and bikes but no one seemed to care.

- "You're going to be even better than me, honey." I gave her a kiss on her cheek and broke away with a smile, running with her again.

- I had never thought that Sofi was going to do medicine, but the truth is that I was excited to have inspired my sister in that way.

- "How's it going with Lauren?" She asked with heavy breathing. I smiled when I heard the question and I shrugged in response, although she looked at me again raising her eyebrows waiting for an answer.

- "The other day she brought me lunch to the hospital." I smiled as I ran looking straight ahead, and I could see how Sofi raised her eyebrows again. "It's like, I don't know."

- "I do know, it's like Christian Gray and you are his Anastasia." I frowned in denial and laughed, without slowing down.

- "She's not like Christian Gray." I said laughing. "Oh, come on, Mila." She sighed in denial. "She's extremely polite. She owns a hotel chain, she has that look that doesn't leave you until you tell her what you want and she's also good in bed."

- "That doesn't mean anything." She said denying me, running a little faster.

- "Hey! I'm just telling you it's like... A gentlewoman?" I said and she laughed when I she heard me.

- "Ok fine I believe you." She said and I felt like running a little faster trying to control my breathing to keep pace.

- "Have you seen the movie, Mila? He is..." I was breathing hard and taking a deep breath as we ran. "Attentive, polite, somewhat distant but with her he is charming without losing that cold point." The hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Yes, Lauren was like that. But this was not just a movie, this was real life.

- I felt a brush on my arm and I turned my head watching Lauren pass me with the helmets on as I ran. She turned her head a little and saw me, but she looked forward again to react again and stop in her tracks taking off Helmets.

- "Camila?" She was breathing hard. She was wearing a loose white T-shirt and black athletic shorts. Sweat ran down her neck, which could be seen by her wearing her hair up, and her chest rose and fell. Just like ours, I smiled the instant she said my name.
