Madison's pov
AFTER SCHOOL
All day, I was really pissed off. I didnt really care about what was happening around me. I came home & didn't see anyone but Connor. Trevor went to his friend's house. Great. I tried to go upstairs but he wouldn't let me.
"Maddie, talk to me. I'm sorry." He said gripping my shoulders.
I ducked & walked over to the couch.
"Please. I didn't mean what I said." He said following me.
I scoffed at him & rolled my eyes.
"You're giving me the silent treatment, aren't you?" He asked.
I grabbed the remote, ignoring his question. He grabbed it from me & hid it behind his back.
"You're not getting it back until you start talking to me." He said as I tried to reach for it.
"Give it to me." I whined, still reaching for it.
"Okay, hear me out. I didn't mean anything, I was just really mad. You're not a mistake, I love you into bits. Please forgive me Maddie." He said staring me directly in the eyes.
"Fine. I forgive you." I said avoiding his gaze.
"Why do you always look away when people talk to you about certain stuff?" He asked curiously.
"I don't know. I don't like getting all emotional. I'm not a person who likes to express their feelings. So when I ran upstairs crying, you really hurt me." I said looking at my lap.
"I'm so sorry." He mumbled into my hair, hugging me.
I nodded as if saying 'it's okay.' He let go & handed me the remote. I put it on Cake Boss & slipped off my vans as dad sat beside me.(I forgive him so I call him dad now)
2 hours later
Dad picked me up & carried me to the kitchen.
"Let's make mac & cheese!" He exclaimed, his green eyes shining.
"Yeah!" I said with excitement.
We began to make it & were laughing when the others came home.
"I see you guys made up?" Sam asked raising a eyebrow at Dad.
"Yep." I said pouring the mac & cheese into a pot.
They shrugged & plopped down onto the couch. I went upstairs & caught a glimpse of Jc going over to Dad.
Connors pov
Jc came over to me after Maddie went upstairs.
"Just so you know, Maddie found a blade & harmed herself yesterday." He told me.
My jaw dropped & I immediately went to the others.
"From now on, keep ALL of your razors or any sharp objects out of reach for Maddie's sake." I said to them.
"She cut again?" Trevor asked.
I nodded & Ricky, Sam and Kian looked shocked. They all scrambled to their feet to go get their razors out of the washroom.
