"That's good but Deja I wanna tell you sum but don't get upset." Khalil says

"Okay." Deja says

"I can't take you to the homecoming dance no mo." Khalil says

And at that moment it seemed like everything would stop for Deja at that exact second. She couldn't believe what she jus heard and didn't want to hear it either...she was excited for homecoming she was going with her crush and now he was coming up to her telling her that he couldn't take her to the dance anymore and the dance was literally in 5 days...

"Deja." Khalil says

"Y..yes." Deja says all low

"Did you hear me?" Khalil ask

"Y..yea." Deja says

"I'm sorry." Khalil says

"It's fine." Deja says walking away

Deja didn't know how to react she was so hurt and upset because she literally had everything ready for homecoming night and now Khalil can't take her. She would walk back to health and sit at the table with Kayla and Alana. They knew something was up because she looked sad and they didn't like that at all.

"Best what's wrong?" Alana ask

"Deja what happened while you was out in the hallway." Kayla says

"I don't wanna talk about it right here." Deja says sighing

"You gon Tell us when we go in the hallway?" Kayla ask

"Yea." Deja says

"Okay." Alana says

For the remainder of class it was quiet Deja jus did her work in silence and it was really getting to Kayla and Alana. They didn't like Deja sad especially Kayla because she would pop anybody for Deja or Alana they were her girls they were like her best friends. Especially since she barely speak to Nahla anymore it's not because Nahla switched up it's only because she moved. It will forever be love for Nahla and that's why she hopes she can go visit there soon she misses her a lot. After 20 minutes the bells rings and it's time to go to lunch Kayla Deja and Alana walk out the classroom and begin walking down the hallway to the cafeteria.

"Best you ready to tell us now?" Alana ask

"I ran into Khalil after coming from the office." Deja says

"Okay." Kayla says

"And he basically told me he can't take me to the homecoming dance anymore." Deja says

"What." Kayla says

"Why?" Alana ask

"Ion know I couldn't bear to ask why I was so upset I walked away." Deja says

"Aww best." Alana says

"That bs I wanna know cause he asked you to homecoming." Kayla says

"Exactly." Deja says

"That's wrong like frl and it's homecoming week." Alana says

"I don't even wanna go now." Deja says

"Bitch huh? Oh your going you don't need a nigga anyway you got us plus you might find one there shit." Kayla says

"Frl you only need us cause we forever baby remember that." Alana says

"Man I love y'all so much." Deja says

"We love you." Alana says
