He goes inside, closing the door. I wait some minutes on my phone until he comes back out again.

"Alright, let's go." He says.

"Let's go, are we grabbing an Uber or...?" I ask.

"Oh, don't worry, I'm driving. We've still got some stuff to discuss, eh?" He says, playfully.

I laugh. "Okay, let's go." He hugs me sideways as we walk, my heart beating fast.

Ugh, why does he have to be with Jane? It should be me...

We get on his motorbike and he starts driving us to the studio some blocks away from the hotel. We talk about a lot of things, but gladly, we don't talk about Jane, or love. I don't think I'm ready to talk about Jane as his girlfriend.

He guides me through the building towards the administration office since he knows the place better than I do.

"Hello," he tells the lady.

"Oh, hello Mr Gallagher, Miss (y/l/n). What can I do for you?" She says, nodding to him and me.

"Um, we're here to pick up her script, please." He says.

"Sure, here," she hands me a script of about 20 pages. "We expected you sooner. Were there any troubles that we should be aware of or...?"

"Oh, no it's nothing," I say, I can't tell her about the fact that my mom was about to reject the role, especially not in front of Aidan. "We just had some minor problems with school, that's all. But nothing to worry about. "

"Alright. Remember, shooting starts tomorrow, so I'm hoping you'll be able to learn your lines by then. My recommendation would be to practise with Mr Gallagher here, he's your partner in the majority of the lines." She says, kind of grinning.

"Don't worry about her, she's incredible when learning lines," Aidan says. I blush and pretend to look down at my phone to check the time. Or maybe an nonexistent notification.

"Okay, that would be all, thank you," I say and start leaving. Aidan follows me close behind.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He says jogging by my side.

"Oh, nothing. I'm just a little paranoid because I couldn't get my lines earlier and now I'm scared I might not be able to learn them by tomorrow, that's all."

"Oh, but you'll be fine, I'm sure of it. Here, I read the script and the lady was right, we are together for the major parts indeed, so shall we practise somewhere private?"

"Sure. But where?"

"Um... Are you hungry?"

"Well... Not yet..." I laugh.

"Cause I was going to say let's go to McDonald's to practice, it may not be private but at least we'll have lunch. And given the fact you're probably not vegan, I think it's a good choice for us both. There shouldn't be too many people around at this time so we should be safe of any fan's eyes."

"Sounds good. Here, let me just tell my mom I'll be at McDonald's with you." I say, taking out my phone.

"Yeah of course." He says while handing me the helmet again. "M'lady." I chuckle, put it on and sit behind him, grabbing him by the waist making sure not to squeeze too tight.

Gosh, this just makes me feel even more nervous...

He drives us to the nearest McDonald's, parks the bike and takes out his glasses and hat from his backpack.

"Oh, Mr Gallagher doesn't want to be recognised?" I say, playfully.

He laughs. "Stop, you'll know in a while how hard it is to want to go out without getting recognised. I'm not saying I don't like it though, sometimes I just want my privacy, especially now. But you should be wearing something too, we wouldn't want any paparazzi making up fake rumours and spreading them around like a plague after you appear on TV so then people will start talking about how they saw you with a strange man in a McDonald's and that it might have been Aidan Gallagher." He chuckles.
