Chapter 16

Azize's POV

"Yiğit! How!" I gasped and looked at Kartal who's looking back with a small smile on his face.

"Ablam.." I hugged him once I took a seat on the bed, "How are you?"

"I'm getting better." He said but he doesn't look so.

"İyi misin?" I asked him, he doesn't seem that pleased for seeing me, I looked at Kartal strangely as if he could explain, but he took the hint as something else so he said, "Let me leave you both alone.." He said closing the door and leaving the room.

"I think we've made a deal that we're not collaborating with that man! He can't take me from one place to the other as if I'm your little toy!" Yiğit yelled and I hoped that Kartal didn't hear any of that.

"Brother, calm down please," I tried to hold his hand, "I'm not calming down! What happened to your arm?" Now he noticed the cast.

"Small accident, nothing important."

"So? What's going on? I'm not leaving you any longer with that man!" He started to yell again, and I couldn't contain myself.

"That man is your brother-in-law."

His featured changed to fury and disapproval, "Get out!"

"I'm not going anywhere and you have to listen to me, you're leaving the country, you are going to start your life somewhere else, you are going to university and you'll stay on you boxing track."

"You got married to the person who killed my parents! I don't want to see you, get out!"

"A lot of things have changed and you have to listen to me, I stabbed Balkan, I almost killed him but look at me, can I kill a father? Can I leave someone without a father?"

"But you sure as hell can become one of them.."

"Melek will never become of them, they only got Azize and she'll do anything to keep you safe." I said and his eyes got softer but he didn't calm down, I didn't realize that I was crying, but I would do anything to make him understand me.

"Do you want to live without me?" He asked me and my heart broke at the question.

"One day, I promise you, one day we'll be reunited, you'll be a famous boxer and you'd be a university graduate, and you'll understand why I did this all. I did it all to live with you." I cupped his face as he was trying to look away, we both turned when we heard a knock on the door. "Come in."

"I'm sorry to interrupt you but the doctor is here." Kartal announced, looking at me worriedly.

"This isn't over." Yiğit told me totally ignoring Kartal, I nodded at him then left the room to get some refreshing air, hoping to take control over my rapid breathing.

"Are you okay?" Kartal followed me to the balcony minutes later.

I turned to him and nodded, "Thank you, for taking Yiğit from Barbaros' and bringing him here.." I changed the topic then looked again at the beautiful view of İstanbul.

He left for a few minutes then got back with two cups of coffee, he handed one to me and I thanked him again.

"The doctor gave him anodyne so he slept, plus he said that he can travel tomorrow, with a wheelchair.." He said out of nowhere.

"What? That soon?" I asked him and he nodded staring at the view too, "I don't think that he'd agree on that, he needs time to recover from our marriage news."

"You said you might tell him the truth..?"

"I don't want to, I need to convince him that I did it willingly."
