Everyone has roots
We are like trees
As we grow and flourish
so do our roots
Some roots are supportive
Some simply supply nutrients
But we all have family and friends
Sometimes roots die
Sometimes those roots are very important to us
But we must always remember,
There are other roots to help hold you up
Author's Note: After we lost an important family member my sister created this analogy. I have simply altered it into a poem and added a little bit of my own flare.
