"HEY" A VOICE CALLS OUT as they enter rosalie's trailer
rosalie turns around to see rudy. "oh, hey"
"you good?" he asks as he takes a seat on the couch
"yeah, why?" rosalie nods slowly
"are you ghosting me?" he asks
rosalie furrows her brows "no"
"then why does it feel like you are? ever since diego and cody got here two days ago we haven't talked, unless we have a scene together" rudy explains to the girl
before rosalie could respond, her trailer door opened. "you ready rose?" cody asks as he walks in but stops in his tracks as he notices the two "oh my bad"
"i'll meet you—
"do i really have to be the third wheel?" diego calls out from outside
"umm, i'll be outside" cody mutters. as he shuts the door he tells diego to shut up.
rosalie sighs softly "rudy, you're an amazing guy and i care about you so much. which is why.... this" she motions to the two "can't happen. i've dated a co-star before, and it didn't end well at first. it made everything on set awkward, the cast and crew would hesitate on talking to us whenever we were together. i don't want that for us. most importantly, i don't want to lose my friend, rudes"
rudy would be lying if he said his heart didn't break. he stayed silent for a second, trying to take in everything. he slowly nodded his head. "you sure that this isn't about—
"it's not" she shook her head
"how come you ain't tell anyone, you two dated?" rudy asks
"i didn't think i need to. i can't just go up to you guys and say oh here's the list of my ex boyfriends" she tells him
rudy scoffs softly "it's all good, i respect your decision" he mutters as he gets up and walks towards the door
"rudy" she stops him "i'm sorry"
rudy smiles softly "i get it. just know, if you ever decided to be ready, i'll be here"

"from the look on your face, i'm guessing it didn't go well?" cody asks as they take their seat at the restaurant
"he said he understood, but i hurt him c" she mutters sadly
"he's a tough guy, he'll get through it. on the bright side he's still friends with you, this could've gone worse" cody tries cheering up the girl
"i guess so" she sighs
"hey how about on your weekend off we go down to the beach?" he asks her trying to distract her from overthinking, knowing the girl always overthinks over hard decisions
"sure, only if you show me your football moves" rosalie chuckles
