ROSALIE HAD JUST GOTTEN OFF the phone with her mother. esmeralda had gone on and on gushing about rudy and her daughter. despite only staying in malibu for a week, rudy really hit it off with her family
"mornin' beautiful" rudy said with his morning raspy voice as he stands behind her, wrapping his hands around her waist
rosalie smiled as she leaned back on his chest "good morning"
"how's my girl?" he questioned as he kisses her neck
"your girl, is tired, hungover, and busy cooking for you" she chuckled as she flips a bacon strip
rosalie could feel his smirk in the crook of her neck. "shouldn't have drank all that wine" rudy says
"i was having a competition with mads and i wasn't about to lose" rosalie argues
"baby, you had almost two whole bottles of wine" rudy recalls as he hops on the counter next to stove, where rosalie was cooking
"and i beat mads by two glasses" she said as she walks in between his legs "which makes me the winner" rosalie smirks up at him as rudy slowly leans down to capture their lips together
as he pulls away, rosalie's smiles widen "i am so in love with you" she says in all admiration
rudy smirks as he looks up towards the ceiling before looking back into her brown eyes. "i'm in love with you too"

"come on, get up" rudy announced as he walked into rosalie's room
rosalie grabbed her controller, pausing grey's anatomy. "why?" she groaned "i just wanna watch mcsteamy" she teases knowing rudy hated when he called mark that
he ignores her chuckles "i'm tired of laying around all day" rudy groans
"baby, we're stuck in quarantine there's nothing we can do" rosalie sighs
"which is why i went out" he said
"where did you go?" rosalie questioned
"i'll show you" rudy said as he extended his hand for her to take. as she intertwined their hands she gave him a skeptical look
he lead her to the living room. rosalie gasped at her sight. rudy had set up a white silk sheet on the floor, two painting tripod stands that held a canvas on each. two styrofoam plates, a set of acrylic paint, paint brushes, cups that contained water and most of all a bouquet of roses in the middle
"rudy" rosalie smiled softly
"draw me like one of your french girls?"
