we were very fortunate to speak with rosalie mendes and rudy pankow about their their final season of outer banks
we first started off the interview congratulating the two on a seven season run and asking how the two felt about the show finishing
rudy pankow responded "thank you thank you. it's genuinely so shocking that obx came to a whole seven seasons. but nonetheless, i'm so grateful. we got to wrap up a show and i got to walk out with a girlfriend"
us: how cute, rosalie how about you? how are you feeling?
rosalie smiled as she glanced at rudy "very blessed. very blessed to have meet and been able to work with such an amazing cast and crew that eventually became family. along with such amazing supporters who not only support the show but support us as actors. and like rudy said thats to this show, it brought us together"
us: it's been six years that you two started dating. how did you celebrate?
"i took rose up to alaska for a week" rudy answers
"in a cabin and luckily, i got to see the snow once again" rosalie added with a huge grin
"she would spend the whole day outside making snow angels or we'd have snow ball fights. i'd always win of course" rudy teased
us: how cute! what are your plans now that obx is wrapped up? any new projects?
"we've decided to take one year off to travel" rosalie grinned in excitement
us: oh wow! that's so amazing, but won't you guys miss the rest of your cast, considering you guys are always together and go on every trip together?
rudy chuckles "nope, we've spent so much time together that we need to get away from them" he joked "i'm kidding" he chuckled "no, they'll eventually come meet us here and there whenever they're free. but for now, it's just gonna be rose and i. she's all i need"
